- We went to this year's "Epic Empires" germanys third biggest Fantasy-Larp with over a thousand players split into 12 camps. We made a little montage of all the camps we managed to visite before the start of the event. Got any questions? leave them in the comments and thanks for watching.

A little sad that you didn't went to the "Old Way" camp... they massively improved compared to last year. But great Video!
Yeah they were unfortunately already ingame when we did our tour. But we will change our video concept for next year to show more of the event.
Love it. Can't wait to come and play some day....
We totally recommand it. If you like very destined themed camps than thats the event to be.
@@OTBlase I have a question. Do they allow any man and any woman, as long as they are over 18 to join up? How do they get equipment if they have equipment that is from another country? I live in Canada and I don't have that much armor. I doubt it's allowed to move that over to Germany if I were to visit for time and decided to play. Any tips on how I can join up?
@@latter-daysaintbatman2679 Hi, the process of joining a camp at Epic Empires is a bit different then on most events even in Germany. You have to apply to a camp and provide pictures of your garb and infos of the background of your character. Every camp at EE follows a strict theme (Warhammer Imperium of Man = Only WH IMP Characters, Camp of the Crown = Only Late Medieval Characters with a knight and so on). Usually there will be some back and forth with suggestions if your character doesn't fit right away. As for armour, a lot of camps are not heavily armoured. We for instans play in the WH Imp camp and don't wear armour at all. As for spare garb or weapons, the camps are usually a tight network amongs each other and are often willing to help out especially with international player. One thing though, Epic Empires is fairly small compared to Drachenfest or Mythodea and some camps are not used to international player due to EE not having that much exposure in the international scene. Always check if the camp can provide play in English. For more infos and possible contacts with other international players, we recommend checking out the Epic Empires Facebook group.
Site is looking Awesome :D
Yeah all Camps have a insane attention for details. All those structures are entirely designed, planed and build by players.
So much wood, I can barely imagine the costs to build this camp.
Most of it is crowed funded by the camps through fixed contribution that goes on top of the ticket prize. Plus these structures were partially build an extended over years which kept the costs at a managable rate.
@@OTBlase would be nice to learn from you. Our GM team is also building a LARP camp, but it's no near to your lvl. Would you like to share your experience?
We are actually not directly involved with the building team of our camp (aside from helping with the assembly and disassembly every year). If you have facebook you might be able to reach people in charge of organizing the buildings from each camp via the Epic Empires facebook page/group. Usually the people are allways willing to share their knowledge and experiences there. You find the group at: facebook.com/groups/256731084820032/?ref=share

@@OTBlase thanks! I'll definitely check them out! You can also check our page as well, have a glimpse at our small camp:
