Hi Mark. Things aren't going very well for me lately. Just life stuff in general. A whole number of things. Just wanted to say thank you for what you are doing. Seeing your work is one of the few things that get me through the day, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. You made a video a few weeks ago about feeling lonely. Just one of the many things I'm going through. Thank God for Xanax and a cool doctor. Again, really appreciate you and your work. Take care. Lloyd.
Hi Lloyd, very sorry to hear you are feeling down these days. I have been there many times as have most or all of us in this community. One thing I have learned is things will get better, may take time but they will....trust me. It helps if you have someone to talk with who supports you. My buddy John and I get together every couple of weeks and we use that time to talk and support each other, we all go through tough times. Look after yourself Lloyd and let me know how you are doing my friend....keep in touch.....:)
Hang in there Lloyd!! And we can all see your effort to do your best by you trying to watch positive videos and leave comments!! Even if it seems like something small, when you feel down, doing any little thing takes a lot of effort, so you can be proud you’re still trying to participate! Hope you are able to talk to a therapist/friend/spiritual advisor/support group/whatever works for you about the things on your mind!
Yeah I always watch it when I see it on cable. I saw it on video when it first came out years ago, loved the movie...thanks for tuning in Phillip and for commenting...:)
My favorite type of videos. Love when you talk about entertainment. Great memory and always an eclectic bunch of choices. Been awhile since I checked in. I'm glad you're still kicking butt in the asmr world and hope things are well. Take care, my friend.
I loved Tim Curry in Johnny Dangerously. Of course he was always good in everything. Just a great overall movie. The Great Outdoors is one of the best comedies of all time.
More John Candy masterpieces I enjoyed from the 80s were Planes Trains and Automobiles and Uncle Buck. The man has no bad movies, he was truly a gift to us all and gone waaaay too soon.
Great video. I think my favorite 80s comedy movies might be Airplane or Stripes. I do enjoy the 70s Saturday Night Live cast in 80s movies like the Blues Brothers and Vacation with Chevy Chase. I also enjoyed Good Morning Vietnam with Robin Williams. There are probably more but that’s just off the top of my head.
Thanks for sharing Jaminjones, there are so many out there that when I started working on this video I began to recall more and more comedies. Thanks for tuning in, great to hear from you again....take care...:)
Pizza & movies are a perfect combo. I enjoyed watching Fletch and Stripes, " I didn't want to do this, but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull rank on you. I'm with the Mattress Police. There are no tags on these mattresses".
Sometimes when I watch the shows I watched growing up in the 80s and 90s I just cringe. I cant believe I ever thought some of that was cool.😂 Some of it is cringeworthy but I still enjoy it immensly. Lol! Great vid!!
I understand, Thats how I felt about some scenes in some of the movies from back then. Was funny then, now?....not so much...thanks for sharing your thoughts Guitarzen and for tuning in...:)
Hey there Mark! Wow. Again another great asmr and again i really Love to listen to the story! I Love it when you tell us some Stories!😍 Btw. I was born on 95 and i totally love to watch the old epsiodes from Miami vice from the 80's. The 80's did Something to me..like i never lived in there but still miss this time..that's crazy right?😂 Anyways keep uo you're good work!🤞
Thanks so much for the kind words Fabian and for sharing your comments about the eighties. I have more stories to come and I will be doing more of these videos as well...thanks for your support, have a great week....:)
Howdy Mark. I get what you say about dated comedies. Our society advances at a rapid pace, but movies, especially comedies, are a snapshot of the time. Remember slapstick? It died in the 60's for the most part. Remember the The one line zinger? Think Groucho Marx for that. Story would often be sacrificed for the sake of the gag. Story is the main reason a film becomes timeless. Most comedies will age like milk.
Well said my friend, I sometimes watch silent films coz they are like a time capsule but the humor is pretty dry to say the least. I agree about slap stick but I saw a bit of Airplane on TV the other night and it was pretty funny, stupid but funny. Thanks for tuning in Bill and for sharing your insight....:)
ua-cam.com/video/vKo0tIYnAIo/v-deo.html Hi Paul, I profiled this movie in another video, one of my favorites....thanks for tuning in my friend....have a great ...week...:)
Hey Mark! Loved all those movies, have you ever seen Taking Care of Business with Jim Belushi and Charles Grodin? It’s honestly probably my favorite 80’s movie.
Hi Mark, yes I do recall that movie, I actually forgot about it. Back in those days we rented just about everything. Thanks for tuning in, have a great week...:)

I know it’s not an 80’s movie it’s actually a 90’s one, but have you ever seen “Matilda” with Danny Davito? It’s a really good comedy/serious movie, I definitely recommend it. I think Linda’s granddaughters would enjoy it if they haven’t seen it. My absolute favorite comedy movie is Airplane, have you ever seen it? It’s hilarious 😂 You forgot to put your PO Box address in the description
Gremlins is probably a movie with George Reinhold that everyone knows. He has a minor part as the lead character's jerk-ass coworker/rival at the bank who gets shot down by Phoebe Cates when he asks her out.

Great Outdoors was an absolute depiction of the family vacation of that time period. What a riot for its time period.
Yeah I always watch it when I see it on cable. I saw it on video when it first came out years ago, loved the movie...thanks for tuning in Phillip and for commenting...:)
Hey Mark,
Rick Moranis is outstanding in Spaceballs.
At times he doesn't even have to say anything, his facial expressions are hilarious.
Yes I agree Ultimok, Moranis was great in that movie...thanks for tuning in and for commenting...;)
