sir for magoosh gre videos, there is a google drive circulating online with a slightly older version of the videos. Is that okay or do we need to buy the 130 usd magoosh subscription? Thank you in advance for your guidance!
Sir, can I use magoosh gre prep and manhattan maths strategies books for gre preparationc? I’ve 3 months in hand for the fall intake deadline. Otherwise I’ll have to opt for the spring intake.
Sir, I recently took the GRE (Q160, V 163) but planning to retake in hope to further improve my score, quant in particular. By the time I will e retaking the format will change. Any advice on how to navigate this change? I am not sure if the PowerPrep mock tests will also be based on this shorter format since I got the free tests. Could you please advise how I can take some practice exams in the new format?
@@talhaomer167 Thanks sir! Lastly, any advice on how to improve my score, particularly quant in 4-6 weeks? I have gone through my score report and identified the topics where I got things wrong.
@@kuleshoveffekt hard to give a general advice since one needs to sit down and evaluate the exact question types, error type and topics variations and all the various factors that go into play. But whatever you do just stick to the official material
Aoa Sir, I gave PP1 and PP2 and got 168 167 respectively. I havent started dedicated prep for quant. How should I go abt it. I intend to cover all concepts which are tested and practice questions for them. Which resources should i use? Thank you very much
@talhaomer167 My first mock was PP2 and I got 167Q and 152V. My 2nd mock was PP1 where I got 168Q and 161V. I am focusing on reading comprehension and for that I am developing a habit of reading for purpose through BigBook. Furthermore, I am working on my vocab. Hence, I am looking to cover all Quant concepts to strengthen my foundations and practice questions which mimic the actual GRE, all while giving at most 2 hours for a month to Quant
Sir, my current quant is 156 i want to increase atleast 10 points in it. Which topic i should focus on that would cover most of the questions. Also suggest some resources that are much harder than the current gre quant level.
salam sir, hope you reply to me, I am very much confusing that there are two types of Manhattan 5lb books based on your information which book I shouldn’t follow. please give your answer. I have completed the Black color cover Manhattan 5lb just Quant and about to start the verbal section from the same book. I have also the othet Green color Cover Manhattan book too but didn’t read anymore. And lastly I compled the ETS official book too. Could you please clarify It's enough for getting a Good Score?? I still not good started yet the verbal section but just memorizing the Vocabulary and my plan to give exam in January. Please guide to me from where I should practice the verbal sections.? ALSO PLEASE SIR MENTION WHICH Manhattan BOOK I SHOULDN’T FOLLOW IS IT BLACK COVER OR GREEN COVER OE BOTH.? PLEASE SIR,REPLY TO ME, I REALLY NEED A GOOD SCORE.
So sir what do you recommended which book to use? i remember you said use ethe gmat foundations book. I have the 'Foundations of GMAT math 5th edition' will the fifth edition be enough? I have a good math foundation so would you recommend this for GRE solely? The GMAT title invites a certain 'demur' regarding the use of this book for GRE haha.
Yes sir i have seen this video, you have asked to buld basics via gmat book, then revise some key concepts using mnahttan or magoosh, then pratcis the ets book. What if we cant spare that much time sir, i have to take it along univeristy, what woudl you recomened then? one book that makes me ready to get 170 and leaves no stone unturned. I am aware its a frivolous demand from just one book, but is there anything you would recommend? @@talhaomer167
what about 4th edition ?

Those old videos are fine. The new videos are almost the same
Sir, I understood your point completely but which book do you recommend. Not just to be parallel with GRE but to have an upper hand.
Nothing at the moment except ETS guides
Sir, do you recommend solving GMAT problems too for Quants and RC?@@talhaomer167

Nothing changes except duration. All the content remains same so keep using the same old prep materials.
