The Black House Museum was built by a Thai national artist who is the senior artist of Ajarn Chalermchai, the creator of the White Temple. Art works, including paintings and sculptures in this museum, are the works of Master Thawan Datchanee which is the owner of Baan Dam Museum. Because Master likes black color, he built this place to collect his works and collectibles such as buffalo horns. At present, he has passed away and there is news throughout the country that someone has stolen his finger bones to worship for some reason.
That's a wild story!!! It's definitely VERY different from a lot of the other places we've visited in Thailand, but so cool as well. We definitely recommend anyone visiting to check it out!! Thank you so much for watching!!!!😊

Great video (again) We loved Chiang Rai,, unfortunately only on a day trip from Chiang Mai,, but have to say it is my favourite Temple of all my favourite Temples in Thailand,,, 😁😁 Only problem was, we had to share it with Bus loads of Tourists so was very crowded,, But extremely impressive just the same, Love your videos,,, brings back lots of great memories.

It's just overwhelmingly beautiful, even if you're getting absolutely fried by the sun because of all the mirrors🤣 As far as the pants, we got them at the Night Bazaar in Chiang Rai!!! Those kind of pants are at just about every market throughout this region & they're all pretty affordable!!!! Thank you so much for watching Brittany!!😊

We did all three temples in one day! You will need to take a grab, tuktuk, or a motorbike to get to and from each temple. If you start in the morning you should have plenty of time. Enjoy! 🇹🇭
Oh okay!!! We saw a monk in the Blue Temple but I don't believe we saw one at the White Temple. Granted, it was pretty early in the day after it had just opened. It was definitely worth checking out for sure! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!!!!

that temple is essentially an art work not an actual temple. There is no monk, no buddhist practice being done there etc.
