DIY 100% Natural Leather Restoration, Cleaner & Conditioner | Only 3 ingredients needed!

Here is a DIY 3 ingredient all-natural recipe to effectively restore, clean and condition leather and wood (and canvas). This recipe has lasted over a century, being handed down from generation to generation on my fathers side.
Preparation time: 3 minutes
Cooking time: 5 - 7 minutes
Batch quantity: approx. 750mL
Ingredients:
1 cup raw linseed oil
1 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp pure beeswax
// Optional ingredient: 1 tbsp of lavender oil or any other essential oil //
Method:
A. Pour linseed oil into a small saucepan and bring to the boil.
B. Then pour the vinegar into the mixture and continue to stir
C. Now add the beeswax and allow to dissolve completely into the mixture.
D. Turn the heat off and allow to slightly simmer. Once the formula is cooler add in your essential oil. Let the mixture cool before pouring into a jar. Mix the leather cleaner as it cools to avoid the oils separating.
TIP: If you want a thicker consistency add 50 grams of beeswax, this is more suitable for a wooden furniture polish.

Hi ​@CHIC Restoration & Interiors . Great video! I have 2 queations: 1.Why did you add white vinegar & what is the benefit or use for the leather? 2. Doesn't heating burn the oil until it boils and cause to lose oil's useful fat, minerals and etc for the leather? Instead you could heat the pan in a boling water....

Please do NOT add vinegar to boiling linseed oil! It exploded and could have caused major injury to me and my son if we didn't run away fast enough

Looks like way more than 1 tablespoon beeswax and when you added the vinegar it didn't look like a whole cup??
