@@bradleyscarreviews I’m not refuting the good looks of the Genesis line up. I got rid of my infiniti to get one?!?! Or are you just picking a fight?? No one... and I mean no one will lease these cars for $1100 per month with $2k down when you can get the German vehicles for the same or less.
I would never drive another genesis or hyundai, especially with the turbo engine. They couldn’t figure it out and paid me money, and then I kept seeing professional reviews talk about the turbo engine issues. They still haven’t fixed it. The transmission does not downshift properly, to the point you are a danger on the road.
I had the Santa Fe Sport with the turbo, and as I said it would not downshift properly. It would also buck randomly if I was sitting at a traffic light for a little while, and when rolling to a red light and the light would turn green before I came to a complete stop...if I hit the gas I would get no power to the engine for as long as 4 seconds (simply unsafe and dangerous). I took it in twice for service within the first 3 months of leasing the car and they couldn’t do anything. I would also lose all power if my tires hit a pothole or pulling out of a parking lot with a height difference between the road and parking lot. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND IS MY RECOMMENDATION. They would have to give me a car for free to even think about driving this brand again.
if it wasn't for that hideous grill and if I was in the market for a car like this, I might consider a Genesis, but that front grill just looks terrible. Why did they make it so pointy at the bottom? I feel like even Lexus had a better grill, and that's saying something.

@@bradleyscarreviews I’m not refuting the good looks of the Genesis line up. I got rid of my infiniti to get one?!?! All am saying is that 53% residual for a G80 or 6% money factor conversion for a GV80 is absolutely horrible for leasing standards! Wait?! Do you understand how leasing works? Or are you just picking a fight?? No one... and I mean no one will lease these cars for $1100 per month with $2k down when you can get the German vehicles for the same or less.
@@chino9468 I understand. But why do you have to share that. Just share that you got a genesis and be happy!
Without the turbo, their engines are underpowered.
Which vehicle and what issue are you referring to?
Éu creio é tomo posi e verdade
That front grill will look off with the license plate in the middle.. they designed it without considering where the license plate to be placed… 👎
Its very pretty in real life. They will sell tons. But its smallish, come on gv90
I don't think volume is going to happen for a long time.
@@stevehammes i should say they will sell all they build.. but yes I agree.
Or, partnership with Gillette and throw in life time supply of that front grille shape cordless shaver. hahah...
if it wasn't for that hideous grill and if I was in the market for a car like this, I might consider a Genesis, but that front grill just looks terrible. Why did they make it so pointy at the bottom? I feel like even Lexus had a better grill, and that's saying something.
If you ask people in West Virginia what a " Genesis " is you get 2 responses... 1# First part of a bible 2# Luxury looking Hyundai. My cousin in Charlotte has a G80 and i love it... but they gotta separate there self from Hyundai. just sayin it is extremely nice tho.
Ha!!! So true!
My local dealer is a standalone.
15mpg? it's too low
The exterior looks already dated
You've got be kidding.

Relative bargain. A lot of Bentley cues. My only wish is that Genesis wasn’t related to Hyundai!
Why do you care? This same car was designed by the designer of the Bentley Bentayga. Car Brands really don’t matter much since half of them share parts
No thanks American made for me,Lincoln or Cadillac💯👊🏾
I saw one on the road and thought it looked like crap.
