It's kind of funny how we had Ricky's road to vert but then he got hurt, then we had Aaron's road to vert but he also got vert-hurt. NOW, we have Jenise's road to vert! Hopefully she doesn't get vert-hurt.
I love the vert ramp. So sick to see everyone learning it. It's like everybody has a doctorate in flat ground street style skateboarding but now everyone has a shot at getting a bachelors and beyond in vert or transition.
I honestly think messing around with the vert like this gives you confidence and will get you more comfortable with transition. Keep it up can’t wait for the next vid….

I'm no expert, but wouldn't it be helpful if she has her knees a bit further apart when knee sliding? Just to have a wider base to fall into so she doesn't fall over sideways?
Nice one Janise. It's really interesting how you can do 720's on a 22ft snow pipe and then an 11ft wooden half pipe is scary on wheels. I can kinda understand though - my nearest skatepark has a small quarter with a very small tight transition. I'll drop in on anything - but this one quarter pipe is about 4 feet and very tight. It's scary. I do drop in on it but going up it and doing tricks is sketchy. When you land there's alike a split second where you need to go from almost vert to flat. Happens so fast the the b o d y factor is high. It viciously smacks you down. I've never done it but I guess a big snow pipe is more gentle because of the amount of transition and less likely to flip you upside down if you slip out.
I love what they have done to Ricky's hair to act like they didn't film all the Jenise eps in one day. We've gone from standard Ricky, to pigtails meme girl, to ... Pocahontas? 😂
when we were little, my sister would tag along with my friends and they tried to teach her to drop in on our quarter pipe. she ended up breaking her leg. :(
I was so scared at the time but I can't wait to go back and do more now!!

When we had a Van's skate park in Colorado the big vert ramp was all vert and a super small transition. It was terrifying to even look at.

Yeah I think they added a layer of something. It sounded different in the last video, too.
Yes Skatelite sent us new top layers which has a tiny honeycomb pattern which is supposed to be safer and it traps dust to make it less slippery
