What should we try next? 👀
You know, I think it’s kind of weird. You guys are doing your videos in your laundry room that’s crazy. I like the stackable dryers and a sink next to your washing machine. That’s pretty cool. 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
😂 it’s our kitchen and having a washer in the kitchen is very standard in the UK but seems like a lot of Americans find it weird to see 😅
We have something in the US called a root beer float lol idk if yaw would like it. It's rootbeer soda with vanilla ice cream in a cup
I think a follow up with the Sour Sodas would be nice!
if you can find more a&w rootbeer maybe get some vanilla ice cream and try rootbeer floats
Take a scoop of vanilla ice cream put it in a glass, pour ice cold root beer over it. Use a spoon to eat some ice cream and sip the drink. It is called a root beer float and it is yummy.
That's what they should try next!
Maybe we can do a root beer float reaction soon? 🤔
@@yassandfats YES YES AND YES! pretty please!!!!!
@@yassandfats 👍👍
This!
She's getting a caffeine buzz. 😂😂
The original soda (fizzy drink) was called Sasperella and in the US, Sasperella was made from birch oil and sassafras, which has a rootbeer-like flavor. Rootbeer was the next generation to Sasperella. Root Beer, Sasparilla, and Coca-Cola were originally sold as having medicinal qualities, and some of their ingredients are still added to some medicinal products today. In the US, most of these ingredients have been removed from our medicines as posing health risks like Sassafras being carcinogenic, and marketing depts of companies that sell medicinal products have masked the "medicine" taste with stronger flavors like black cherry, lemon, and grape.
On a hot summer's evening, a tall frosted mug filled with rootbeer that has had a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream added, can't be beat for how refreshing and enjoyable it is.
7up and dragons pepper were both medicines also. One is for indigestion, the other constipation
I kept hearing Sam Elliots voice in my head while I read your comment.
@@trevornekuda3101 and mountain dew invented by moonshiner!
Coca Cola's original recipe included cocaine.
As an American, I've obviously had Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, A&W and Fanta. But I've literally never had any of these flavors of pop before, except for the A&W.
We need more of these videos 😂
If these were warm sodas you might want to retry this with cold ones. Our drinks are designed to be cold when consumed. There is a big taste difference between warm and cold soda.
The drinks were VERY cold 🥶
It's really funny to me when Fats cracks up laughing and just cackles a bit. I'm American so Fats' British accent, and the way she talks and annunciates her words, just sounds elegant to me and she's just kind of classy... I like when she comes out of her shell a bit and just starts laughing and being funny.... You're funny Fats.... I like Yass, but I keep coming back for you (and I mean that in a completely NON-STALKER kind of way....hahah)
Big red is popular in Texas
Really? Why? We haven't had it in the north for 20 or 30 years, maybe we're missing out, Is it bubblegum flavor? I honestly don't remember?
@@matchu.j No it's actually cream soda dyed red. Made in Texas, that's why it's popular there.
Oh, this makes sense why I didn't recognize the brand. I'm from the Mid-Atlantic.
@@matchu.j I have no idea, I just see it a lot here and I’ve never tried it so I couldn’t tell you why it’s popular. I moved from NJ to Texas and it’s up there with the other sodas in stores
@@C-Thunder I’m from NJ but I moved to Texas and I see it a lot here so that’s my only reference. I never tried Big Red though
A&w first store is in the same city i live in lodi,ca.. Try it with vanilla Ice cream it's called a root beer float .. You might like it
Root beer is delicious by itself, and quite good with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream in a frozen mug.
Root beer in the US. I feel you either love it or hate it.
Only thing my grandpa drank besides water and coffee was A&W Root beer. I can't stand the taste of root beer or Dr. Pepper.
@@feivel069 have you ever tried barqs root beer it's so good.
I hate it
It’s so good!
Root beer is 🔥
Out of all of those soda’s root beer is my favorite.
Fats cracking me up giggling and having a laughing attack. Sugar and caffeine high lol
Those are definitely all regional type sodas. If you were getting the “main” National types of sodas it would be regular Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Root Beer, Sprite, 7 up.
Of course I’m sure you guys have some of the main ones over there already.
Same here. I will pass on the root beer; nasty lol. But a coke float? I'm in.
I've been to London twice and the "Dr. Pepper" they have over there tastes "totally" different than what we have over here. The regular one, not the Cream Soda one. I love that one. 😋
I prefer regular Dr. Pepper myself when I drink soda. I used to drink Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper when I worked at Sonic back in the late 80's.
A frosty mug of A&W from their drive in used to be a real treat when I was a kid.
Root beer float with soft server vanilla ice cream in a frosted glass!!! Perfection!!!
Is fats turning American?? Love it!! 🇺🇲
You failed to mention that that Mountain Dew is called VooDew. It said it on the can!
Don't think I've ever seen Fanta Berry here.
Big red is big here, but not as big as pepsi and coke. It's one of those other random drinks that's just... there among the drink list and some seem to like it. But it's also hard to find, unless you go to Texas. It tastes like cherry coke to me.
Dr Pepper Cream Soda is good and I think it tasted like any other cream soda.
Warheads I recently started finding in Dollar Tree. I tried them and they each actually tasted like that candy flavor.
Root Beer was originally made from Sassafras roots , its a tree that grows in North America, the leaves and bark are used for medicinal purposes, thats why you think it smells like medicine
You guys are a cute couple ! You are a lucky man she is absolutely beautiful !
There are 3 distinct American popular root beers: A&W, Mug and Barq's. They all taste different, but Barq's is more different than the other 2 because it is aged in oak barrels.
Also, Barq's is the only one with caffeine and IMO the worse of the 3
How about Dad's Root beer.
@@everydayamerican8639 nah barq's is the best
This American will be glad to give her a hug if she needs it.😂
A&W cream soda takes amazing with ice cream or whiskey. Dippeding on ur mood/occasion
Big Red is mainly a Texas drink. Its considered a red creme soda, but is often compared to a classic bubble gum taste.
My stepdad used to make fish bait with Big Red, cornflakes, and flour.
The Mountain Dew mystery flavor 2024 was "Pink Fruit Candy"
In the Midwest, we call it pop.
We need more of this definitely more and more Fat electrician. Love your Chanel. ❤
Not sure how I missed this video but I am so glad I came across it. This was fun...you guys are so great together 😊
that laugh when she smelled the root beer was amazing! it was like an evil cackle 🤣
1. Mountain Dew is Grapefruit.
2. Place vanilla ice cream in a tall glass. SLOWLY pour ice cold Rootbeer over it. It will rapidly bubble and rise up & over the top of your glass if you're not careful. Place a straw & a spoon into your glass. Then enjoy! The combo is delicious!
A&W is best ice cold also with vanilla ice cream to make a root beer float
Root Beer float is the only proper way to consume it. Ice cold thick glass mug, ice cold root beer, ice cold rock hard vanilla ice cream. Put 2 scoops of ice cream in mug, top with root beer. Drink ice cream infused root beer, adding more as ice cream melts.
Keep doing these tasting videos, like your energy together.👍👍👍
Sundrop is a good drink too
A&w Root beer is the best, that is all I ever drink in pop. 🤠👍 Yeehaw that good!
Yo, I seriously thought for a second that you were using a green screen background and decided to choose an appliance filled kitchen photo for some reason! Haha..
But you can see the tree movin.. Lmao... 😆
Yall should try mtn dew cold red or baja blast next or mellow yellow or faygo peach there good mostly all I drink and i like the root beer yall got and the bars root beer is good also.
The " root flavor in root beer is from the sassafrass plant . It is a large bush or small tree which grows wild in Alabama , where I grew up . We used to dig up the roots , wash them off and chew on them .
If there was a a
Caffienated root beer id be all over it. But can't find it. Plus it mix well with alot of stuff
New subscribers here More of this and I will watch and like forever❤
Big Red and A&W Rootbeer are Dr Pepper products. A&W Rootbeer with vanilla ice cream.😊
Fanta is Coke, MTN. Dew is Pepsi, don't know who makes Warheads
Have you tried home made sassy frass tea? It is the root boiled and turnt into a drink. It's definitely a pop drink in my region/area. Extremely old fasioned. You have to prepair is careful. It has coincide in the roots
Purple Mountain Dew = Blackberry Plum
And FYI... If you drink the Root Beer warm, it's kind of harsh. Refrigerate it nice and cold, then think vanilla cream as you drink it.
I think be red is an old soda like RC - Royale Crown soda. But has falling from grace due to the more big popular newer companies like sprite. Pepsi. Coke. And original mountain dew
You have to take a big mouthful of root beer and let it swish around a bit. The flavor is incredible and it tickles. I remember when Fanta came out in the early 70s it was a generic soda and was half the price of real soda. A 2 litre bottle of Fanta cost 59 to 79 cents. A 6 pack was around $1.50. I think it came in Orange, Cherry, Grape and Cola flavors.
With big red, the more I drink it the more I like it. The first couple of sips are always an adjustment.
so in the U.S. we fight over calling it soda in some of the country or pop in the rest of the country but coke and pepsi are the most popular.
In Texas they are all called Coke, not pop or soda. So if you go out to a restaurant, servers will ask you what kind of Coke do you want.
@@rdramos13It depends on the restaurant
yep the generic term I use is coke as well. though the coca cola doesn't like people doing that on account of them being afraid of losing their trademark name.
@@rdramos13 Another reason to dislike that backward state.
I came across your video as I was opening my Big Red. Nice reaction!
One of the main reasons Fats is such a wonderful woman is that, she is so giving and suffers by drinking soda, just to entertain us.
Save these videos for when you're in America doing shopping and then going home and trying everything haha
The Root Beer is easily the most iconic American soda pop on here🤘 none of the other ones are that common in the forms/flavors that are here
Only "Root Beer" lasted long enough to make it into Star Trek...lol 🤣😂
got pulled over a year or so ago while heading to a gas station for a drink, officer recommended i get dr pepper cream soda, been hooked ever since!
Gotta do rootbeer floats now. Just put vanilla ice cream in glass and poor rootbeer til full. Mix well, and enjoy!
I live in Texas and I had no idea that that warhead soda existed
Same here in AZ. Love the candies, so the soda will probably be really good.
Right! Was thinking the same!
four loko makes malt liquor that taste like the warhead candies.
It’s more of a novelty soda. I see it mainly in specialty shops or dollar stores…..sometimes Walmart.
@@finallife87 Oofa I”ll pass on that one
To quote Quark and Garak from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine:
Quark - "I want you to try something for me. Take a sip of this. It's called root beer".
"What do you think?".
Garak - "It's Vile!"
Quark - "I know. It's so bubbly, and cloying, and happy.".
"But you know what's really frightening? If you drink enough of it, you begin to like it"
FACTS!!! lol!!
Not all Root Beers are the same. Some are far better than others. Root beer is based on the sarsaparilla root. Though now it is created chemically to simulate the root flavor. Very few (mostly home brewers) use the actual sarsaparilla root itself. Just a fun fact. But I would try to explore other root beer brands as there is a spectrum.
My first BIG RED I had back around 1975 in Kentucky. I always assumed it was mostly a regional drink as I could never get it in the midwest. Having been all around the country, I rarely see it anymore.
Glass bottles were mostly phased out in the late 80's. In my opinion, everything tasted better when ice cold and from glass.
Need to try mountains dew Baja blast
Delicious All-American soda's reactions, folks! 😋 Y'all should also try our unique "chips" like: Fritos® corn chips, and even Funyuns® 'onion ring' style snacks!🤤👍
All my life growing up in California the sodas I’ve drank have been Coca Cola, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Pepsi, squirt, Mountain Dew, and root beer.
No Faygo, Parade, Shasta, Walmart or Kroger brand sodas???
Big Red is also Cream Soda, it's just a red one. Cream Soda comes in multiple colors, red, clear, and a golden color. Root Beer smells like Sassafras, not medicine or mouthwash, and you should try it in a glass with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream. It's called a Root Beer Float and they're great! A totally different experience.
There's like five different flavors in the family. Big Blue, Big Pina( pineapple), Big Manzana (apple)...
If you can try American sweet tea (cold) that's better then any Soda in my opinion
100%
As a southerner from Memphis I only drink tea. Iced mostly but hot once a while. No sodas or fast-food for over 7years
Put the root beer in a glass with a dip of vanilla ice cream, and you have a root beer float. Many Americans attribute root beer flavor to be similar to that of black licorice, however in today's world it is a vanilla drink.
I never once thought root beer taste black licorice.
I see people recommending a root beer float, but the best float one can make is a Big Red float. I love root beer, but the strawberry goodness of Big Red has been my fave since I first had it 35 years ago. Great video!
I'm 42 and I have liked BIG RED EVERY SINCE I was little like 3&4 years old.😊😊
Love these guys so much ❤❤❤❤
Try Sundrop, a citrus soda that is mostly regional in the southeast. Ice cold in a can or glass bottle is best.
Big red is popular in Louisville Kentucky.
Not one American was consulted picking these. In all my 37 years I’ve never had any of them. 😂😂😂
Yeah other then the a&w, plus I thought big red died off twenty years ago
Root Beer is somewhat of an "acquired taste". The more you have the more you like it. Not only is it great with a scoop of ice cream, but put into a FROZEN MUG so that it 'ices' around the edge is the BEST way to enjoy it. (the colder the better)
There are a few different brands, and each has a distinct difference from the other. My favorite was a home-made brand from a restaurant in West Tennessee that sold it by the gallon. I lived 30 minutes away, and would go there every month JUST to buy a few gallons. Very CREAMY and smooth!! Man I haven't had that in SO LONG!!!
Root beer main flavor isfrom sassafras root. I love it, especially with vanilla ice cream in a cup.
Fantas common flavors in USA are grape. Orange and strawberry 😊
When we were little we used to go to the root beer stand in the summer and get root beer floats and French fries
Fatss's first four picks are major brands here in America.
Fanta feels so retro although they're on the road of comeback. I used to drink crazy Fanta strawberry or vanilla sodas when young. Big Red is also Not so major.
My first seeing a warhead soda never knew those existed the candy was popular around the schools still is.. ."
You should have done regular dr. Pepper rather than their cream soda version. Interesting fact both dr. Pepper and big red were both created in the same city, Waco Texas. Great video!
You guys should try Dr Pepper Strawberries and Cream and Mtn Dew Baja Blast are my 2 personal favorites.
Gets some vanilla ice cream and put in glass and add that a and w or rootbeer!!
Watching this as I'm drinking a root beer lol
THIS CHIC is so pretty I watch your videos wit te sound down!
Try Coka cola and Pepsi cola and dr pepper original flavor and mtn dew original
Big Red is one of the best thing about being a Texan
I like the ones from BBQ restaurants more than the can.
She'll never be allowed in South Texas.
The only Big Red I know of here in the States is Big Red Chewing Gum
Recently I came across Big Red at a gas station in thr South Bay of SF Bay Area. I was really surprised as I hadn't seen it in years. I knew it sold well in the Southern US and had had it before, years ago, so I bought a bottle for old time and nostalgia sake. Its pretty good, but if choosing between a good creme soda or Big Red I'd probably go with the creme soda. My drink of choice is Sugar Free Dr Pepper or any of the flavors of Dr Pepper although I wasn't a fan of the Coconut Creme flavor. A good root beer would be my next choice and then most anything else besides Mtn Dew. And yes a Root Beer float on a hot day is chef's kiss.
Yass & Fats, as an American who used to drink some soft drinks (but then realized HOW bad they are, health-wise, so I stopped), I've never seen nor heard of Big Red or Warheads as a soft drink in the US??? Personally, I love a traditional ice-cold Coke in a can. But on the more exotic side, there is a delicious malted drink with a slight carbonation called "Malta Goya" (made by Goya). Keep up the good content!
I haven't tried the Dr. Pepper Cream Soda yet, but I've got a 12 pack of it in the pantry right now. But I did just recently have the Diet Dr. Pepper Strawberry & Cream soda and it wasn't bad either. My first can of it wasn't quite cold enough, and I didn't know what to expect, but later cans were pretty refreshing.... and tasty. Oh, cream soda is supposed to be a vanilla flavor.
I use to drink alot of wild turkey 101 bourbon whiskey with A&W cream soda at parties in high school lol
You have to try the root beer with vanilla ice cream. It's called a root beer float or ice cream soda
Big red is a southern soda
So is Dr Pepper and root beer
Man root beer is an American thing to heart, if I go somewhere that I know has got root beer that’s all I want
I love orange Fanta, grape Fanta, pineapple Fanta and strawberry Fanta
If I'm remembering the mtn dew right, that was the skittles flavor. I loved that flavor as well❤
Root beer varies a lot in quality. Try to find one in a glass bottle, made with real cane sugar. That is usually a good sign. Henry Weinhard's Root Beer is my favorite. IBC and Dad's are also pretty good.
A&W cream soda is pretty good but maybe try and get some faygo soda. They have a TON of flavors. Or Verners for the ginger ale lover. 😊
Even in Virginia I’ve never seen Warheads. But I’m definitely gonna look for Blue Raspberry. I love anything sour
Dr. Pepper is the best of all. You have a specialty one there. Cream soda isn’t a preferred drink you can find at a local restaurant down here in Texas. Big Red is also another Texan soft serve drink. It’s very popular here in Texas as well. It’s not so popular outside the state. Pineapple Fanta is the default you would find at fast food restaurants or restaurants if they have an extended soft drink variety. The AW rootbeer you have there is what most Americans think of when rootbeer is mentioned. When you visit the great land of Texas be sure to visit the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco,TX.
Always best to pour into a glass (frosted glass if possible). That releases the excess fizziness.
In America many people say the original Dr Pepper tastes like medicine to them since a lot of medicine we have is cherry flavored same with grape soda since grape is another common flavor for medicine in America
Before Prohibition, there was a beer company called Henry Weinhard's. When alcohol became illegal, they started making Root beer and cream sodas. When Prohibition was repealed, they started making beer again, but people encouraged them to keep making the sodas. In my opinion, Henry Weinhard's root beer is better than A&W.
I’m in Philly & never heard of Big Red & only saw someone drink the War Head drink on UA-cam but can’t recall ever seeing it anywhere (I’m not a soda drinker either - water is my drink.) Also, the only soda I had (that you tried) was the Root Beer.
Most flavors are limited or seasonal. Do original flavors there more common. And likely to be bought
