My nephew and great nephew took the cruise and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Many years ago, as a backpacker and mainly staying in Youth Hostels or shared dormitories, this would have been luxury for me!
@jlaudcent sounds like a lot of good memories! Yeah, that's the thing, I think people automatically think luxury = really expensive. But thats not always the case. There were cheaper boats that didnt have buffet for instance. The buffet add is a form of luxury because it was not absolutely necessary.
Thank you for being nice and taking pictures with the locals. But a lot of those people who take pictures with you are tourists from different countries. Black travelers, especially the good looking ones are rarely seen in their countries. They do treat you like celebrities.
If they think you are pretty and look like a model or someone famous, they likely to asked for your picture. The shy ones just take picture and run off. They don't care about us ugly fat ones... 😥
