Who here is a pit player? This honestly deserves attention outside of the pit, such dedication for such a small game and player base is amazing, and such a blessing to have somebody like this in the community.
As someone who does not play the pit and only found out about it from this video, this was one hell of a rollercoaster. The way this video quickly spiralled into highlighting actual criminal behaviour is insane. And as you've put it into words, it's crazy the lengths that some people would go to just for items in a block game. Nonetheless, it was a very informative and interesting video, I really sat here and watched 1h 40min of a game I know nothing about lmao. I guess that says a lot about your ability to keep audience retention, so good job!
Speechless at how accurate this video is. The Pit looks like any game. Only if you are interested in searching and going to review everything that has happened will you discover the immensity of everything that has been and I hope will still be. Happy to have witnessed all this!

I used to play the pit a TON, and I quit a long time ago due to a bunch of hopping groups making midgame and getting and using mystics near impossible. I still really enjoy the game, but I get sad seeing the direction its going in, and its just dying slowly. I am glad you made this video, as its almost like portal back in my life when I mained this game. Amazing video, thank you.
Wow this randomly popped up in my recommended after not playing the game for years and it brought back many great memories from when I used to play as a member of the black hats. One major thing I remembered was getting the first Perun sword on the day the mystic update released and trading it to PrinceLink. The Derpi in my usernames nowadays come from everyone in the Pit community calling me Derpi since they couldn’t pronounce the full thing Derpibooru. Great video man keep up the great work!

Skunker here, Can't entirely remember, but I'm pretty sure I was the one to enchant the first telebow 3 (the one you duped a lot), and gave it to you for your instaboom 3. (telebow3 strike gold). I still have those green instaboom 3 eggs pants to this very day. Epic video encompassing some of the later-on huntsmen drama that I was not a part of (fortunately). I remember getting an invite from kade to play on a "modded server" later after he had scammed me. Luckily I learned my lesson and didn't oblige. Loved the variety of footage and other accurate history facts about the pit (and me, yipeee). Also another detail from the killstreaks update, I discovered a fatal oversight in the hermit killstreak in the conclave call of release day, allowing for the user to freely use gamble 3 without consequence, but was laughed at by minikloon himself... This was later fixed. Also that ministreak called "smelly" (fermented spider eye) was my creation... It still lives as a part of me to this day. Smelly Bomb: slowness aura upon right click. I can't put to words how the pit has affected me over the 3 years I played. Lots of wins and losses, friends made and friends lost. It was truly the "Runescape" of my era. Without the worry of ratting, doxxing, or extreme targetting, everybody was discovering something new and rejoicing with the rest of the players about this mystic or that mystic. As well as the instaboom, I still have the first mystic pants I ever enchanted. (Wolf pack 3, TNT 2)

It's crazy to me that even after all these years people still remember that 1 year terror streak I had on Pit, where I managed to get banned and unbanned 3 times in the span of a few months, leading people to believe that I was paying off the admins lmao. If anyone's curious, yes, I was cheating. I wasn't using reach or anything like that, I purely made hitboxes bigger, which lead to people accusing me of a variety of different cheating methods, none of which were ever actually true. I sold the account to PrinceLink for 300$ and haven't played pit since then. But like I said, cool to see that I'm still remembered lol

I played The Pit 2-3 days after it was released. I played it and didn't touch it again after. It was cool seeing how the game evolved over the years, and the way you presented it was absolutely amazing. You deserve more subs dude, keep up the good work :)
15 minutes into the video... I'm still clueless as to why people who abused glitches didn't get banned / stat reset haha. They may have eventually but still, should have been an instant thing IMO. And I can safely say, even now that I never abused / from my memory even did a single glitch ever during my time playing!
i was never a big pvp person, but what i loved was going on there, hanging out by the lake and fished and chatted with people + friends. if i wasnt fishing, i was climbing up the giant flowers and making a house

I agree with your take at the end of the video. I think I'm somewhere around prestige one, but I can't see myself every playing pit again, because I know I'll just get farmed by high level players. I won't have the chance to progress because the game it too skewed in the favor of high level players.

I quit pit around 2 years ago now apart from checking the lb every so often I fell out of touch with everything. Wonderfully entertaining and made video, watched all 1 hour 40 minutes of it.
i miss this game, i played as “hevrts” and enchanted/traded so much and spent like 1k hours. i ended up cashing out for a total of 1.5k, had so much fun with all the items and streaking and meeting people. there was so much cancer and toxicity though, you could tell the pit was infested with 12-18 year old no life boys that spent all day in vc getting bhoppers, venoms, etc. i’ve yet to find another game like it, but this exact formula in a different game, minecraft or not, could be extremely successful and fun. the grind paid off and was so rewarding, really sad to see it go from 1k+ players to 200.
I used to play pit b4 I was false banned for 30 days, so I quit and began skyblock. I still occasionally play the pit, but now am a skyblock try hard and dont find it as much fun. nice video and great quality of this movie-like content
I really like this video, the extensive history of bugs and dupes is something that not many people are super knowledgeable about, or willing to share. I've thought about making a video like this myself for a different game, but putting all that information out there generally is not worth it imo. Awesome video

I remember this mode first releasing and grinded it for a long while, then it got I N F E S T E D with cheaters. Was nearly impossible at one point to find one lobby without a bhopper.
I remember the survival video distinctly it was in a youtube video where people kept bridging and then they got out. Someone had a rose bush that they kept and they explored so many new chunks the game died

What I remember is that the video started off with a guy showing off a rose bush jumping into the pit, almost dying with it, going back go spawn and placing it in their echest. They then went wayyy further beyond the 2nd map finding a rose bush bcz of some chunk generation thing. I think spifey made a 2nd video about it? I remember it was a group of people on a call but that's all I remember sorry. I'm now kind of interested lol I'll say something if I find anything about it

jesus christ I've only played this gamemode casually from time to time and all of a sudden i learn all of this about it? i didn't even know what a mystic was until today. my favorite past time was fishing in the lakes around the map because i thought it was funny. i will never be able to see this gamemode the same again

jesus christ I've only played this gamemode casually from time to time and all of a sudden i learn all of this about it? i didn't even know what a mystic was until today. my favorite past time was fishing in the lakes around the map because i thought it was funny. i will never be able to see this gamemode the same again
