Yes, very common in Canada and the US...due to such Hugh’s peanut allergies these days. My son lives on peanut butter , but he’s homeschooled so...it’s not an issue but for lots of kids this is unfortunate as many families can’t aford much other than peanut butter sandwiches. Many schools in Canada and the US also have breakfast programs and lunch programs where meals are provided for those students who’s eating families are struggling financially this is great as it ensures children are at least getting two meals a day.

Yes, that is correct. Many schools in Canada and the US are Nut free due to peanut allergy being so common.
