Now we are empty nesters we make it easy with a haul of 10 Euros per day for food for the two of us per day - nice to see the difference to how it used to be when we were still the six here - always highly appreciated you are sharing! 👍✨☀️🐿️

Hi Hailey good shopping haul yes ours break up one today other 2 tomorrow, we like cream soda with ice cream in a large glass, but years ago when we was young we could get the green cream soda that was so different to the clear one we get today , hope Caitlin had a great birthday, last alarm on for tomorrow thank goodness 😂 hopefully get few lie ins ,got lots of jobs round the house to catch up on before we go away next month, xxxxx

I really feel that food prices have gone completely insane! My weekly bill has increased by 20-30 per cent. I do not believe it’s a less than 10 per cent increase as they tell us. I hope Caitlin had a great birthday and enjoyed her steak!
And they try and tell us prices are going down x

Those kyivs are nice but tiny it’s like garlic bread in chicken rather than a spring garlic taste, I was glad I’d bought them on offer as needed two for a meal ❤️❤️

loved the haul Hailey. the pudding looks good and I wish I could get those Aero mousses here, that's so not fair. It look super good. and I love the idea of getting chicken drum fillet. unfortunately we don't here. I have some thighs in the freezer, I should cook those.
I don't like drums myself but I am happy to try them deboned and see if they are any good, anything to save some pennies these days. Give my best to the wife x

Hey, do not buy unless you can handle how great and yummy they are. These are the Hershey’s cookie and crème filled crepes, they are very really and available from Tesco - £2.10 a pack of 6

I can’t eat fish fingers in breadcrumbs , only in batter, at Farm Foods I got 3 packs of 80= 240 for £10 for three, We don’t really eat chips , if we do we just have approximately 6 chips . But I can eat a fish finger sandwich in a slice of Milk Roll anytime .

It is unreal how much more Americans pay for their food. For example, we have McCain's brand chips(fries). Locally they sell a 20oz (567 grams) bag for $4.99(£3.84). I am curios as to how much the average family makes as their take home salary to live on. So how much after you pay your taxes.
Our. Inflation is waaaay above yours in the states, our food prices are still rising, utilities are still increasing, along with home tax, car tax, etc what we have to pay out Is different to what you guys pay out, so It doesn't cross Over as Simply as People think xxx
@@mummycookshomemade Same with us. Our property taxes have increased by 20-40% in some places. It is insane. We all are feeling the pinch. At least you don't have to pay for health insurance. It would be cheaper for us to pay more in taxes and get the healthcare covered than pay for heath insurance. They are bleeding us all dry.
People think we don't pay for Our healthcare, we do, it's not free, it's what is taken out of every single persons wage in this country, we pay national insurance. The only diff is we don't pay again at the hospital. But people can and do pay into national insurance for 20 or 30 years and never use it
@@mummycookshomemade Yeah, I know that there is private healthcare and you pay for the medical for the NHS, but it is nothing like the US. Most people in the US are one accident or injury away from being bankrupt and homeless. Hospital bills are in the 10s of thousands even with insurance. For example, we pay almost $600/month for health insurance that covers 1 well visit a year. Any other doctor/hospital visit we have to fulfill our $3000 individual/$6000 family deductible before insurance even kicks in. We don't make that much money either.
My daughter had a horrible sore throat one night and the only place open was the hospital emergency room. They spent 2 minutes with her and gave her a prescription and sent her on her way. The bill was $800!
I think that there is a misconception that Americans have a bunch of money.
Someone even posted the other day that they believe that Americans have more money to spend and that is why they charge us more for groceries.
Have you all seen our homeless population? Things are very rough in the US right now.
@jaklg7905 I've seen the homeless,and ours too, also the fact that the republicans have made it illegal is appalling, no one chooses to be homeless, and trump wants to remove medicare, medic aid, social security, women's rights, there's alot going on over there, people will need to make their voices heard in November.
We just turfed out our corrupt government after 14 years, see if the labour government does any better.
Regular Americans are the same as regular folk everywhere, we're all doing our best to get by with what we have. Provide for our families as best we can, give our kids a good education and happy life. People labelling Americans as rich just because they're AMERICANS is just ignorance, the working class is the same the world over, we Work the hardest for the least pay off, the rich just get richer year after year and care nothing for those they deem lower than themselves.
I hope things brighten up in the future for yourself and all Americans, same for all people struggling to make ends meet xxxx

It's having the freezer space, I never have any lol I always have the intent to run it down, but I can't, I always think to myself of my freezer being that safety net xx
Terrific haul for the money spent!! Lots of things on offer, too! I don't care for steak either, never have. I like beef, just not steak. My local food bank indicated that they are in need of diapers (nappies), wipes, and baby food. My daughter found a really good sale at Target and got a ton of diapers and wipes so I'm waiting for those to be delivered today. I'll shop for baby food next week when I do my normal food bank shopping. I hope everything fits in my car. 😅😂 Take care. 🛹🥰🐢❤️🩹
