One of my favourite brands all these years! Their designs have been pretty stable and I felt so lucky they didn't follow the trends like full logo prints, low quality t-shirt/sporty looks to suit the taste of younger consumers!!!
damn such a rubbish show and collection ... damn mcqueen has been degraded
@@art_means_artificial Erm not sure why you are saying this but I feel that their brand's designs has been nice all this while. But obviously if you are only interested in the Mcqueen with its original designer then it won't be the same. I'm just happy that they didn't follow suit and come up with all those tacky logo prints.
it’s a very Sarah Burton for McQueen collection…. not that McQueen has felt like McQueen since Lee’s death…
not totally a read by the way. I enjoy the look at 8:45 quite a bit, and I do agree that I support not buying into the consumer trends of late many notable houses/brands have succumbed to, but there isnt much that pushes boundaries or feels like the magic McQueen once regularly evoked
@@STKTSTKT Every designer has their own sense of style, got to give her time to blend in with the brand. It takes years to do that but many consumers are just not patient with new appointed designers
I'd wear any of these pieces anytime, this collection was truly magnificent and Naomi closing the show was just the cherry on top, absolutely stunning
Yes and I like the slight of a smile, which I think they all should have, they look mad all the time just a small upward turn of the corner of the mouth would do, lol
This collection is so strong wow, it’s polished but still rock at the same time, there’s definitely a badass feeling with the denim and leather pieces. Simply divine ✨

I love how models with tattoos and piercings can now make it out in the modeling world, for so long they were dimmed for not looking the part. ❤️❤️❤️

My favorite was the sleeveless dress with the cloud print at the bottom. There were several things that I really liked but that dress stuck out for me. Bravo Alexander McQueen.
This has got to be my favorite Spring/Summer 2022 show so far!! SO GOOD!!!! So edgy, but stylish & inventive. Not the regurgitation of recent trends and snooze fests that so many of the other shows have been.
It´s a beautiful show and the clothes are absolutely stunning! Naomi Campbell was a sight to behold, she radiated confidence and grace. Loved it!
I miss him. Never met him. Love his creations and art. An inspiration.
This is a quirky and fantasy-esque collection in a modern day society world, it's clean, with a little hint of urban. Yet it has that smart casual, modern, working vibe to it. I love it. Also I can see an overall glam rock inspired look. It's has an innocent grudgy edge to it too.
Love the weird globby space thing with the views of the stormy London around it. Though I always feels a lot more commercial and pretty compared to the actual Alexander McQueen collections. I always just end wondering what amazing things he would be doing today when I watch these. But the trailering etc. is absolutely beautiful and spot on. If I had the money I would buy one of those tie dye dresses

this is definitely one of my favorite mcqueen collections. i've seen so much of myself in this collection, i'm literally speechless! naomi closing the show WOW brilliant!
The cloud fabric was a nice addition.
With the show being up in the clouds, the whole thing was a beautiful storm
Seeing all kinds of fits really makes me feel connected.
Mr. McQueen is not with us anymore, but his spirit is definitely with us. what a proof of legend.
this collection was inspired by the sky and you can really see it. You can see it in the dress prints where the calmness of the sky manifests into slihouted dress with a boncy bottom half mimicing the nature of clouds gliding over time in the sky. The pink hues reminescent of a sunset contrasted against the reflecting light bouncing off the zippers. The sparking raindrops that seem to almost glide of the perfectly tailored dresse, british at best. And the figurative analogy of the raindrop dimonds on grey tulle under ominous grey clouds--its hard to miss.

LEE is so proud, I really felt his touch in this collection. So empowering, Raw, Innovative, daring, brave and true. The finale was extremely confident, radiant, majestic and vital, so vital. The models, all of them endlessly exquisite and unique. Feeling so feminine and so powerful right now. Thank you with love, Vi An in Canada.

@@YoungO-un8ul actually using 90s supermodels is getting old. So many bloody shows doing it. I love Naomi but sometimes you just gotta pack it up and do other things. I know Naomi paved the way for the other black girls but the new ones are so damn strong and then you have Naomi strolling in.... I felt a tinge ...just a tinge of second hand embarrassment

Amazing collection, some truly stunning pieces. One of the greatest British designers ever, and a Massive Attack remix, one of the best British bands ever. What a powerful combination! Love it. Alexander, you are so very missed & you'd be so proud of the amazing talented people keeping your brand going strong. Can't wait to see what's next; they never disappoint ❤️

Great location! Beautiful things- Any age! A nod to the balloon skirts that I love and still have- a Japanese oversize flavour combined with traditional English prep. Some 90s mixed in, as with the oversized box suit jackets. Always loved this look Nice!! And kudos to the choice in models! Although, being middle aged now, would love to see one or two older women. We still look good-
Didn't Care for the collection to much. But the whole vibe in the bubble and roof deck and music was so year 2050!❤

Why is Naomi the only one that gets to even partially smile? These pieces are absolutely stunning, yet the majority look disgusted to be wearing them. I just don't believe fashion should be about looking miserable.
Well that’s a matter of personal opinion. I see most of the models in this show as people with confidence. I also find every show before and after Lee’s passing has always had the same atmosphere. Smiling just doesn’t fit into that. I don’t like fake cheesy grins on models. Save that stuff for Victoria’s Secret.
@@okt8491 I know what you're saying. I'm not referring to being fake, but at least not look utterly miserable. Confidence can be shown with just a partial smile, as Naomi proves. My personal opinion is a preference for even a blank gaze, as opposed to a scowl. I know McQueen makes me smile.

Great collection, perfect blend of edgy and elegant.
I understand that the hairstyles, the music, and even walk were harsh so I would take special notice of the clothes. But it was so harsh and I'm so happy it was tough to watch it all.

Lovely show that really holds the attention on the garments vs the theatrics of a 'show'. Surprise entrance from Naomi Campbell, but well worth the wait!

I hated how fast every girl up to the last one was almost running. I feel like it is a fail of show director.
No one in their sound mind runs and hurries around in any outfit of those presented (maybe there still are a few more casual exceptions in a show). Such a high pace is not giving the beautiful works their due.

la collezione nell' insieme non ha un filo logico.. è un mix di tanti look tutti diversi e contrastanti fra di loro ..dal romantico passa al dark con la pelle. Dai completi fashion. fino al soave con abiti leggeri e trasparenti... è un modo che rimane in incognita.. ossia i capi presi singolarmente non sono identificabili perché non si riesce a leggere e codificare il target poiché non emergono segni riconoscibili..per ricondurci alla vera personalità dello stilista...
