I'm from south india and we call this snack as acchappam in kerala and achimurukku in tamilnadu ...but we would ignore maida and add only rice flour.. even though ill try the rose cookies that you made..

Hi thanks for your recipe which i tried out as my old Dad loves them. However, until it fried, it was fine. While draining and let it cool a bit, it turned soft later. Transferred to airtight container, however still soft. What went wrong?
