As much as I hate the name 'Go Pro Mode' it does have detail, you can here the wind breaking the audio from the Go pro cam, a lovely detail.

Hopfully this Blows SNOW out of the water. after their last update with shitty snowboards and Snowmobiles locked behind a paywall this looks like it could be an awesome alrernative!
Considering SNOW is made by hobby developers and Steep is made by a multi million dollar company, it's naturally going to be a little bit better.

This actually looks pretty interesting, a nice diversion from all the other more busy games. It looks like something that would be fun to sit back play, and end up throwing/breakign your controller after your thousandth failed attempt at a run ending in your death.
This has gotten me excited. I've been wanting a Skate 4 but this looks like a perfect substitute.
Remember in the late 90's and early 2000's when snowboarding games were all the rage? 1080 Snowboarding, SSX Tricky... Those were the days.

Never heard of this but looks pretty good. Do we know if there's a career style mode? All I really want is Skate but for snowboarding, where you get a career but without the arcade style of SSX
so in short, it's skate with snowboarding, skiing, wing-suiting, and parachuting. i'm into it.

Hoping the tricks improve in the final version, need something in between skate 3 realism and controls and SSX style an fun. Looking at at this makes me think they've never seen a real life kicker, jumps aren't just wedges placed in random places, landings are very important.
Hopefully they'll add rails and jibbing too

nope,SSX was more of an unrealistic arcade type game than what Steep is.Your example is like comparing Need for Speed and Grand Turismo.
Would get this on a heavy sale based on this video, hopefully it will look a lot more fun closer to the release date.

The crashes are pretty unrealistic. IRL, if you hit something when you're wingsuiting, you leave a blood cloud and your remains leave a blood spray trail while flying in different directions. You can look it up, there are videos of that.
Was mainly enjoying Bomfunk MCs being on the soundtrack.

Openworld extreme winter sports game, F@CK YEAH, i might sound crazy but I'm more excited for this than I'll ever be for Ghost Recon Wildlands, thank god Ubisoft can add some variety to their openworld games.

If you are electrocuted, you are electrically executed. Meaning death by electricity. You are not defibrillated. Cheers.

The problem with that is that continuous current throws the heart's pacemaker out of sync and induces _fibrillation_ where basically the sides of the heart just quiver a bit or don't contract cohesively, so blood might get pushed around within the heart, but very little of it actually gets pumped out. This effectively results in cardiac arrest.
Defibrillation, on the other hand injects a single, sudden pulse of current (that's why people lift the defib pads after the shock is delivered, incidentally) to stop the heart, so that the heart's natural pacemaker can restart itself and restore a regular rhythm, and letting blood flow properly once again.
tl;dr, no, no you wouldn't.

Things I want added to steep:
1) snow mobile
2) animals (deer and foxes and stuff)
3) rock climbing (belaying, trad climb, icing, etc)
4) avalanches and blizzards (avalanches that you have to stay ahead of and blizzards that limit visibility for more extreme stuff)
5) ski resorts that you can hang out with online friends (maybe buy different boards, wings units, skis, parachutes, and smoke streams)
6) maybe skating on the frozen lakes
7) the ability to turn off music and/or change it to relaxing, peaceful music
8) sleds and toboggans to mess around and have fun with
9) an ability to turn on blood (like when you hit a mountain side while wingsuiting you leave a blood spatter and when you hit the snow it starts to turn red, that'd be dope)
10) maybe custom tracks, where you can ad jumps and obstacles and stuff, like a custom race in gta, but with snow.

I like how they release footage of the game in it's early stages, therefore the graphics are terrible. So Ubisoft will be praised for upgrading their games for once. Well played.
