I am soon going to prune and tame my stephanotis jasmine. I was curious if you had any luck with rooting your cuttings in water. Anyway your plant looks beautiful!

Yes, I had success with rooting in water, but only with older branches (brownish in color and hard wood type of branch). Even so, you need to be patient, as it can take 2 months to root.

Hi dear I bought this two days back can u tell me how to water it I kept near my window I saw young leaves turning yellow

How much direct sun does it get? It is yellowing from leaf burn (too much sun) or deficiency like yellowing? I water mine every 3 days (it has a very well drainage soil) during hot days and use a semi-transparent pot so I can observe when there are no more wet patches in the pot. Also, you can dip your finger until the first knuckle: if the soil is still wet, refrain from watering and wait 1-2 more days. Also, Madagascar Jasmine leaves will drop a tiny bit when thirsty.

Hi! Indeed it is called STEPHANOTIS FLORIBUNDA, but generally known as Madagascar Jasmine. I am still at work, will reply with another comment in a few hours or so :).

Try to fertilize it regularly, once the dormant months are behind. During one summer my plant struggled, it was way too hot and it dropped it flowers in no time. I change the spot and in a few months she flowered again. I also changed it's spot during winter, as it was near a heater and was looking poorly. Check the lighting conditions; if she does not receive sufficient light it will not bloom. Also, placing it next to an aquarium/humidifier offers the humidity it needs. Hope your plant will flower soon! Best of luck!
