Dog doesn’t alternate between red and blue. But yes, it is a reference from DOG sky color changing from purple to blue. Unless his settings are just like that.

Well, you swing up and down a lot, it's not a complex pattern, it's just the fact that you need to make sure your sabers are swinging up and down correctly to slice the arrows.
