I want to do something for reducing the impact of all this things in my country and also in the world, but unfortunately I am not even 18 years now, so obviously by the time I shall be able to do something on a big scale, it will already be too late. Punjab has rivers but is barred from using it by Indian govt., the water simply flows through Punjab to Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. Even the cities in Punjab have to rely on Borewell. If punjabi's speak they are termed separatists and Khalistani's , the only solution for Punjab is moving to west. Punjabi's are progressive but we also love our native land, so assured We'll continue demanding our rights till we get them while living in a place where we are loved and respected, i.e, whole world.

@K 2 Whether you accept it Or not but the reality is nearly 99% of the problem that we are facing in India is due to our skyrocketing population , the longer we deny it greater the problem will become.
@K 2 Although I agree with you that our government has definitely failed in providing for its citizens but ignoring our ever growing population is a big big mistake.
As far as China is concerned I definitely admire how they were able to build such massive economy but let me tell you some things regarding China :
1. China have a communist government and every news that comes out of that country had to go through various filters so don't believe in everything that you see in news on face value.
2:China realised that there growing population is hell of a problem so they imposed their very infamous "one child policy" back in 20th century (maybe nearly around 1980's) and even to this day they have some kind of policy imposed on their citizens.
Result: China population growth rate is ~0.3% whereas India's is >1%.
This clearly shows they realised OVERPOPULATION is a PROBLEM but unfortunately many Indians are still adamant not to admit that Our growing population is a problem.
3. They realised that for supporting their massive population they have to strengthen their economy so they worked on building their economy since 1990's and after nearly 30 years it's one of the largest economy in world but instead of all these they're still working on reducing its population because overpopulation is always a problem no matter how big your economy is.
3.Heavy industrialization has definitely affected the climate in a negative way and people of China are also suffering from the I'll effects of it.

1. Generate less waste.
2. Buy from local shops and farmers instead of supermarkets
3. Waste less water
4. Stop consumerism, be ready to marry a guy without car, be happy walking or cycling or using public bus.

Problem is that people in cities always come to blame villagers for stubble burning, unsustainable agriculture, farm loan waivers, .
But they never complain that they get cheapest food grain in india than anywhere in the world ,
They never complain govts anti farmer policies, ...
They never ready to offer cheap loan, services or machinery to farmers at lesser prices ...
Most of the farmers can't pay debt because they never get profit from farms because their crop gets purchased at floor price. ...

This shows only one side of the story. The government of India holds away the water which belongs to Punjab and still plans to take more water from Punjab's share as a propaganda against it. Due to this people were forced to depend on groundwater and groundwater levels have fallen down. Punjab will soon become a desert if nothing is done immediately. We too Facing the same in western Punjab (Pakistan).
This whole area is divided in 1947 but you can’t change or divide it’s climate.
Soil in western Punjab is dying too and the water level is going down day by day.
Paddy is a headache for our farmers too.
Pesticides are killing us.

Main problem is lack of organic content i.e 0.5% and a huge population to feed for our farmers.In upcoming years if we refuse to hear plight of farmers they will leave their professions.
We should leave the rice,we are not eating the rice in punjab,so why we grow, perhaps we should look into organic or save the water, PUNJAB government should focus on subsidy
I'm worried God forbid that the day is not far when there will not be any food grown. It has started.... We should do something very concrete now otherwise it's too late.

Debts which are not their fault, I can kick the entire ass's of reserve bank of printing monies out of their greed and favoring circles but ludhiana has one of the best in Asia or maybe world the agriculture university with lot of research work and other things in agriculture done so i don't know about this short film how true it is But problems are there no doubt about that.

@@---me--- main problem being dt India doesn't support the research framework a lot n a lot of work by Indian scientists is unnoticed due to lack of scientific journals n papers in this country.
Ab doesn't means rivers but it means land between rivers like Doab means land between two rivers so Punj ab means land between 5 rivers
