Im hoping the Air 4 rumors are true. a 1" sensor with a mechanical shutter would be a game changer for me. Just add that to the "projected" extended flight time and the new controller and it is a no brainer.

I would guess a Mavic 4 first but i'm happy with my new Air 3 so i should be good until 2026

I have the Air 1, Air 2 and Air 3. I haven't even had a chance to enjoy having the latest technology (Air 3) yet and you're telling me there will be an Air 4. Nope, nope, nope, I'm out. I can't keep up. I can't keep dishing out a thousand or more for the fly more packages. I'm just going to wear out what I have now, and when I'm down to my last drone, then and only then will I buy another. I'm not going to let DJI turn me into a drone crackhead! I mean we are all hooked on the latest thing. Not anymore.

It's not about keeping up, its about your needs as a drone pilot. I still use my Air2s for day shots, Air3 for everything else. I'd purchase the Air3s (Air4) if they include a stacked 1inch sensor, the other two drones would pay for it. As much as I enjoy my Air3, it has mini 4 Pro camera

I have an Air 3 and an Avata 1. No intention of buying a new drone. It's like buying an autonomous car. Takes all the joy out of why I actually bought a drone. I understand with the bigger sensor and all, but how much more will it improve and how much does ones eyes actually see. If you're using it for business income, then ok.

I'd be interested in learning more about the differences between the various DJI series. I own the Mini 4 Pro which I feel is a fabulous drone with a fairly low price and outstanding features. Also nice that it can be flown recreationally with a weight under 250 grams. In addition to the Mini series I know there's the Air & Mavic series but not exactly sure what differences exist and why someone would chose one over the other. And of course there are other DJI series. Would be awesome to see a video discussing the various series and the drones within each series. Hope you'll consider putting something like this together, I feel it would be very helpful. Thanks.

The new drone will have a 1in' backlit CMOS, 2 aperture options, all of the intelligent flight features of the mini 4 pro packed in a 550 - 650 gram design. Made of the same light material used for the mini 4 pro. O4 and O4+ (with optional new RC) and new intelligent batteries with 60 minutes flight time. Price: $1199 basic package, $1299 with RC2+ , and 1399 Fly More Combo. Plus, for those hobbyist and semi-pros 3x optical zoom and 10x digital assisted zoom...same gimbal stability standard up to 5.4k video 100 fps. 20 ms ascension/decent speed, 48 mph normal and 58 mph sport mode. This drone will be the best selling of all time....or at least until the next release.
I'm buying the mini 4 pro and the air 3. One RC2 and 2 extra batteries for both drones (5 for each). Maybe in 3 years I'll look to upgrade but, until then, I'll just enjoy the 2 drones that can currently do everything that I could ever need from a drone. Unless Dji releases a mini pro air S pro set of combo drones that compliment one another better than the mini 4 pro and Air 3 compliment one another.

The Mavic 3 has had huge discounts for several weeks now. A Mavic 4 is probably coming in august or september ..

My guess is it will be about $250 -$300 more than the current Air 3.
