    People in the comments are always complaining that BR79 posts up the same thing over again. When I was in the Marines my Commanding Officer would always say be brilliant in the basics. You'll never go wrong. Even professional athletes go back and refresh on the basic fundamentals every now and then. IMO I think BR79 does this "basic" video again to remind us to be brilliant in the basics. If you're in mid or high stakes poker and are just losing hand after hand. Fall back to the basics (fundamentals) and try again. It has never let me down.....EVER!!!!!!!

    Appreciate your content brother, a little thing I tell myself is if I make a mistake and lose any size of pot I think of it as paying tuition on learning how to make better decisions 😂 hope you have a great October!

    In that first example doesn’t that board favor the big blind range though? 10 5 4? What range are you representing? Just overpairs?

    Everything that he says is as it is. I've started following his strategy and just implemented few GTO fondaments and it works. Just be patient , take your time and have fun.

    One issue i have is players who just do whatever and have no clue what they're doing. Do you still want to be aggressive with nimrods that get lucky?

    Bro how the hell do you play AK at the micros? Lost basically every time with AK and I’m fundamentally pretty solid😂 AK is my leak, do you 4 bet and always look to shove or just call a 3 bet? I know it’s very situational but for the most part should we play it as a call or shove😂

      I play it strong but I know when to back down as well, depending on the player type I am up against. I have lots of videos discussing AK.

    Great breakdown of winning poker strategies! 🏆 While it's impossible to win every time, mastering game fundamentals and understanding player psychology can significantly improve your chances. Consistency and discipline at the table make all the difference. Keep honing those skills!

    Hi, i have been viewing many of your videos and i appreciate your advices and strats. I have tried them as a beguinner on internet low cash games / 0,2 cents blinds to 0,5 blinds. I have won a some blinds, from people folding and winning some hands with the cards you suggest. However, i have lost big applying your strat, to higher hands. Losing a straight to a full house or a higher straight. Or simply losing bets when the flops doesn"t hit my hand. I have seen no recreational players to win from, so in the end so far , i lost 10 bucks after hours of playing ! falling to 2 euros and clinbing back to the initial 5 euros takes times and hands. i dunno anymore, i feel i should limp more ...

    Hi Nathan
    We raise with AJo IP vs a maniac, maniac call. Flop T54r. Vs a NIT & TAG we cbet. What should we do vs a maniac?
    Please Nathan 🙏

      Raise him on the flop if he bets to see if he actually has a hand or not

    • @justinjames7801
      @justinjames7801 3 місяці тому +1

      @@andysilvy23theres alot to consider you have stack depths, are you playing over 200 bb deep? Also you said you were IP did maniac donk bet into you? And how much did he bet what’s the pot and spr? How much was raised pre flop? Did you 3x the blinds and he calls or 4-5x?
      What hands has maniac shown down before? Hands like 7-2 10-4 stuff like that? If he did bet was it small in correlation to pot? How much left behind? You said AJoff so only backdoor opportunities you have are broadway or low end of wheel. so you have very little equity
      Raising on this flop is just a punt unless you go runner and hit an Ace or jack you could be drawing dead against a set or two pair if the turn isn’t a broadway card or wheel draw card, now if your A-j was suited and you had backdoor opportunities that’d play different you could call to see a turn. Playing bad hands is a mistake against maniacs you want to generally play stronger ranges than them and not get into raising wars because they just call. Unless your image is good and they know your gonna have aces, 2 pair or a set and you use that to take pots away here and there. There’s no one straight forward approach to this spot. Lots more going on than to just raise and see if he has a hand or not. Even tho I agree with that play, it does work if he’s full of it. But he thinks you’re full of it and re raises you have to fold. A high can be good here sometimes or you can hit an ace for top pair. Sometimes just calling to see a turn is best play then seeing what he does from there, a lot time they’ll give up on turn of it’s a bluff not many players have a triple barrel bluff button. Good players will call in position just to take away on later streets. Good luck

    I decided yesterday to stop playing poker online. I lost all my winnings in 5 hands yesterday. 5 times pocket aces preflop all in. Lost 4 against AK and once against pocket nines. It took me a year to win 1500 euros and lost it all in 5 hands. I am no longer a believer, i quit
