Which would you call more durable, Silgranit or Durinox?
I would say Silgranit
@@JBathroom Thank you. Silgranit scratches and chips reported by users are horrific, and there's almost no info about Durinox, much less Dark Steel. I hope I make the right choice.
@@glacialimpala SILGRANIT Scratches can be repaired unless the scratch was caused by vigorous scratching with a very sharp object, such as knife. So far I have never received any complaints about the chips problem from my customers yet.
@@glacialimpala The difference between granite and steel sinks is that granite can withstand high temperatures, impact, and scratches. This is the advantage of granite sinks that steel sinks do not have.
Mine always looks bad. There is no easy way to clean these things or keep them clean. I have tried Barkeeper's Friend, baking soda and vinegar, etc. It always looks bad.
This video shows the durability of the BLANCO granite sink. For granite sinks you have to clean it in the right way often in order to make it look like new. We have customers using BLANCO granite sink for more than 5 years and it still looks like new.
You have to clean it often. The best way is to clean it daily to keep it always look new. You may try with BLANCO cleaning agent or descale powder.
Although Silgranit is a very durable material, there are cleaning products that you should not use to clean your granite sink. These include:
- Drain cleaners
- Cleaners containing chlorine
- Lyes or other solvents
- Abrasive cleaners
These agents are very aggressive and can cause lasting damage to your sink.

P/S: I have searched for the Bar Keeper's Friend cleaning agent you mentioned. This agent is only suitable for stainless steel and porcelain surfaces.

My sink broke before installation
Hi, may I know what's the reason cause your sink broke?
If it's manufacturer defect, you may try to claim from the seller you purchased from.
@@lovegreen6528Yes it could be damage if not handle well. For example the granite sink fell from height , something sharp and heavy fell on top of the granite sink.
Likewise, if the same thing happens to a stainless steel sink, it will cause damage. It’s just that granite sinks are more durable, scratch-resistant, heat-resistant and antibacterial than stainless steel sinks. This is the message I want to express through this video.
