Hello! Just bought this camera couple of days ago. I ordered a car windscreen mount separatly and attached the camera to my windscreen for a test run and unfortunately the footage came out as a kinda heavely pixelated results, though I set it up for 4K/60fps resolution. (The trees and other cars in the car park were look terrible in all honesty) and it was a glorious sunny day....this device setup not really add much option for iso settings, though I still need to find out, if I mainly use in a car, which is the right metering system center/multi to have better quality....
I guess there's not much you can do, but I'd rather go with just 1080P to prevent overheating issues - especially because it has a li-ion battery and not using a capacitor like most dash cams do. But of course you can remove the battery and it will still work - just as parking sensor, but I guess the GA420 doesn't have that anyway ... as far as I remember
Thanks for the video I just got the camera I was disappointed that the charger didn't come with it. Can you charge with the port from your computer or the wall outlet and it hold a charge??? I will be ordering the charger. Also it said that if I was using it for a dash cam t o remove the battery-again does it hold a charge??? One last thing are the universal chest straps made for this or does b it have to say GA420. THANKS
Charging port is standard micro USB so you can use the USB-A charging port of your PC, wall plug or whatsoever ;-))) It has only a 1/4" standard tripod mount so for all the GoPro adapters you need to use the frame with the gopro mount. The battery is very good. It hold the charge very long without using it, but also the runtime is quite long - definitely longer than a GoPro
Can you mount it on a motorcycle helmet using what it has in the package and and a regular helmet mount or does it require anyways the underwater box? I am considering buying this, but at the same time I want to use the external microphone and place it inside my helmet so I can record my voice while I ride.
The problem with the external mic is that you have to keep the lid for the USB port open which is not really recommended on a motorcycle ... and sorry can't exactly remember what has been in the box as mounts. Maybe if you check my whole video you can see what's there, but basically the normal housing has a standard tripod socket so you could use it with a tripod to gopro adapter (amzn.to/3wegcn3) and then use any gopro mounts for your helmet ....
As far as I know there's a super large Chinese company (like always ....) behind that (without end consumer website) and smaller companies (like Wolfang) can order some customized cameras from them. 90% of the parts art the same like from other sellers but again ... they can customize it a bit and I think the Wolfang cams are a nice package for the price.
Awesome. Yes - I'm still using mine almost every day to record small videos. Really love it. It has even better stabilization than the gopro during the night. Just make sure that you're using U3 micro SD card if you want to record 4k 60fps.

@@RetroMies Awesome - I love the Samsung micro SD cards. They are the most reliable cards on the market. I always go with 1080p and 60fps ... even with my GoPro ... because most ppl watch in 1080p anyway and 60fps is the highest fps which is supported by UA-cam ;-)))
Oh - really? It didn't look too flimsy, but the opening is a bit small so it's always a bit difficult to plug in the micro USB plug ... I wished it would be a bit larger.
@@Aviator168 Wow ... I guess that happens on your cam? Did you manage to repair it? Maybe better we use the wifi synch with the app, but I've never tried ...
@@allcheckout They replaced my camera. Now I pull the SD card out. I also use a separate battery charger. It is such a nice camera and I don't want to break it. If the battery and USB covers were made with metal just like the rest of the casing, it would be a great camera.
@@Aviator168 Oh - nice to hear that they replaced it. Yeah - I have to take out the micro SD card anyway because after about 10 times now my PC doesn't recognize the cam any more and doesn't show the files anyway :-(( Where did you get the battery charger from?

whats the maximum size of micro sd card can you use?
Usually 128GB with most such cameras, but I don't have such large micro SD cards, so I can't check ... sorry
Can we transfer pictures and vid from this sd card to apple laptop via its cable?

Be careful about that USB cover. It will break very easily.
