I noticed that the original asking price for the advertising pens/pencils was almost double the price you mentioned was your actual selling price. How do you know what to make your starting price and when to lower that price?
Always new information and learning for anyone and everyone. This is great for anyone going around sales to keep a look out for, most people would just pass these things by. Thank you, Don. Charles in the UK
Funny -- I've already seen this video, but UA-cam just suggested it again, right after someone gave me a bunch of old pens & pencils and we were talking about which ones could be valuable.
Have a matched Mont Blanc pen and pencil set that I had back in my corporate days in the '90s. They're worth a few hundred bucks I think. I'll check now
Very good info. I used to grab these all of the time! I have several hundred. I literally haven't found but 2 good or OK ones in 5 years. It's very weird. Absolutely NADA. Guess I'm hitting the wrong yard sales/ thrift stores.
I noticed you are showing the listing was 57 to 60+/- , but you accepted 30ish . This was the case in a few of your recent ( very informative) videos. Is this a recent phenomenon related to the current economy, or is it what you have been doing for years?
my grandfather had a pencil with his name of his company he ran a crab packing company in the 1940s 50s and 60s i would love to find one but not sure how to find one
