Don't bother with Twitter, it's hell. For Instagram, post clear and precise pictures of finished projects and shots of your workspace. It doesn't always have to be lego, it can be older works, pets, just silly selfies. It's meant to be fun. Seems you can't do anything these days without patron so having one is probably a good idea even though I'm broke so I can't afford a membership.
