Clown is the artistic genius of slipknot. All the album artwork and general artistic design and vision comes from clown.
You can always tell when a band gets out of its contractual obligations. They get more creative.

Now that we climbed this mountain, downhill we go. I met this band in Ft. Lauderdale playing at the Chili Pepers 23 years ago. Wow. Joey was the coolest. All of them were cool, but I had a good conversation with Joey. I'm over 50, and I will listen to Slipknot until I die.

You gotta think Shawn has always had a thing for this weird kind of film making, we've seen this from them a few times. It seems like they're trying to explore more of the creative abilities with this new found freedom from the label. I'm excited 😊
This all has to do with Craig's departure. The song title, "you know I'm gone" from Adderall is being played backwards. ALSO, I think this has been in the works for a while. I say that because Craig played at the Welcome to Rockville on 5/18/23. But finding a replacement and getting them up to speed would probably take longer than 3 weeks. Filming this alone could take a couple of months.

@@MiamiKlaus915 Look just because a metal band goes experimental for a short while and explore different genres doesn't mean it's not music. As a metalhead who only listens to metal, the heavy stuff like Infant Annihilator, I actually find these new tracks soothing and really good. Voluntarily, I only listen to metal, but whenever I hear a good non-metal song I enjoy it a lot.

Still no explanation about Craig leaving and STILL no explanation about them kicking Joey out over a decade ago. Not even after he passed away. All Joey said is they kicked him out because they thought he “was on drugs” and when he was in the hospital only one of the band members even went to visit him… I just want them to make super heavy music again. That’s not asking too much

Craigs Original mask after joining slipknot was panty hose, these molds could be their younger selves signifying their growth and doing away with their old selves. The fact craig is the only one that doesn't explode could signify his journey with the band ending as we know was announced. Thus his growth and progression has ended forgoing a need to evolve.

Craig apparently isn’t in the band anymore. They kicked Joey out a decade ago when he had a neurological illness…. They haven’t been the same since Paul gray died. All the albums after that haven’t been the same. They have come out with some good songs since then though, just not as many as on the first albums

Honestly, with the way it went down I don’t think Craig was booted. He’s always been extremely private, and none of the OG members are young.
With how they announced it they made me wonder if he’s struggling with a health issue like cancer. That guy is so private that it’s unlikely he’d speak on something serious like that.
My mom, little sister, and I went through cancer together when my mom got it, and I lost my surrogate dad to it. If it’s anything like that my heart goes out to him.
Then, almost on top of that I learned Clown announced he’s sitting out tour dates because his wife is having health trouble, and that made me wonder even more if Craig is struggling, too.
In any case, the textural foundation he added to Slipknot will be sorely missed. He had such a unique perspective, and, like a fine wine, he only grew better with age.
We’ll miss you, Craig 🙌🏼❤️🩹🤝
@@Worran Honestly, I could say the same about the music theory that Alessandro has brought to the table. Their newest record (The End, So Far) was incredible for me.
Also, this video lacked his name which makes me wonder. Hopefully he’s not gone because I was REALLY enjoying what they let him bring to the table on this last record.
@@derekrose3328 bruh the last 2 members were given the boot so it's likely the same story for Craig. Corey and Shawn are taking control and their goal is to replace all the members that don't accept a pay cut with hired guns. I mean they literally hired a guitar tech for the new bassist. No doubt he accepted a much smaller salary than Paul Gray was on.
