Jones is not a terrible Qb I believe it’s the inept offensive line and lack of weapons on the outside that halted his progression. Now with that being said I believe he is damage goods and will never reach his potential

Look at it from a general manager point of view.. granted there are later round exceptions, but most of the cream of the crop when it comes to o-line play is going to be in the first and second round of the draft. The Giants have several holes to fill, trust me as a fan I know. Would you rather select a rookie that might need a couple years to develop even if they're in the first round and then find yourself having to pay them first round money, or a proven commodity??

I'm no huge DJ fan but he has been surrounded by a mishmash of mediocre talent. Look at Dak in Dallas he's had 10x the level of talent on both sides of the ball and cant get out of the first round of the playoffs. If he had a dominant O-line, a competent defense and an elite 1 & 2 receiver I'd like to see what he could accomplish
Two things can be true at once. Jones didn’t have help, ok. Fair. Jones with help is still not a good QB. Might not be as bad as last year with an improved roster, but he’s just not good enough.
Mike T false again!!! You can 30 players I outside of CMC that will keep coaches from sleeping, and you name an RB. The truth is, it's way harder to stop an elite passing attack without a elite RB, than it is to stop one with an elite RB. Pat Mahomes, Tom Brady, and Eli never had an Eli RB when they won the championship. They all had elite WR and OL. You can't pay two CB and have elite front 7 in today NFL. The Chef was able to do so last year because of the rookie contract, the draft capital from the Hill trade.
