Wow! Wow! Wow! To Alec, his art and all that he does in the community, and to you for an excellent video and quality production! You’re both inspirational!
I hope I wasn’t the only one watching that brilliant visit to Alec’s gallery. So inspiring. Amazing work. I wish I could visit in person, but here I am in rural Ontario. Though I originally come from Dunoon, so I will definitely make a pilgrimage next time I’m over. Thank you Derek.
Thank you Derek for sharing everything you do, especially this talk with Alec Galloway at his gallery and studio in beautiful Scotland, I am very happy that we are united by the love of stained glass no matter where we are; Here in Mexico we have a public school that teaches this beautiful craft, this school called “Escuela de Artesanías” is the heir to the Arts & Crafts movement of William Morris and later the Bauhaus. What you kindly share helps me understand some processes in a simple way and inspires me to continue learning. I send you a brotherly hug.
What a brilliant interview and visit to Alex’s studio, his work is phenomenal. I am amateur but find great joy in producing a piece of stained glass , thank you
a lovely piece. lovely production -- sound, lighting, pacing, editing. deserves a broad audience. imagine it would be much valued in university curricula among younger, aspiring art students. the depth and facility of Alec's work is remarkable. loved seeing the images of his sketchbooks. a profile of the mind of an artist-observer. again, I wonder how many students there are whom would resonate with his being, who hunger for a model. and how lovely it is for you to travel and interview/celebrate these artists. so much to learn. endless. I think, how do I get from Glasgow to his studio . . . as always kudos for the work you do.
That’s so nice to read your comments. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement, it means the world to me. It’s great to know there is an audience out there who appreciate Alec’s beautiful glass art 🙏🙂

You’re welcome!🙏🙂
So good to see someone inspiring domestic stained glass art beyond windows and rectangles. The future of the craft needs that market to return.
Thank you, great to know you found Alec’s work inspiring!🙂

I loved this video, and I love Alec's artwork. The light boxes are a brilliant idea since not everyone can hang something in front of a window.
So glad you enjoyed the interview!🙏🙂
Thank you !
I Love Scotland
