this looks incredible, im getting the nier automata vibes too but also it reminds me of signalis a bit with the no context esoteric cutscenes speaking of signalis, i reckon you and the sgs would enjoy the fuck out of it, very silent hill
The over-kill mechanic was interesting until you immediately got skills that started to negate it, hahaha. Also, I have seen other games where color-based enemies can only die to color based attacks. And that does seem to have more gameplay potential. Another idea is a game where enemies can only die to certain combinations of attacks. So, for example. An enemy will display a set of numbers above it, and based on damage, the player needs to perform different attacks in the specified order before the enemy resets to another combination. Or simply a rythim system where those numbers are replaced with the prompts for each of the buttons in the controller. X,Y,A,B, for example. Of course, more complexity can be added by combining the bumpers and triggers. But the concept and the setting looks fairly interesting. And the bosses were nicely designed. I'm looking forward to this game.
On the other hand this looks really cool and I love the art, on the other hand this looks needlessly complicated and mechanics are unclear because everything is too artsy fartsy.
Appreciate you putting a spotlight on this one. I kickstarted this back in the day and I'm looking forward to playing the final release.
For those curious, the wait time for the network is a little over 8171 years.

Has Jesse played Signalis? it evokes a lot of similar 'vibes' as this game for me and I think he'd really like it
Is this the game you were talking about playing on Twitter? If so, I can't wait to see this Gentleman's Gaming Club episode 🤣
Hey Jesse kinda random but have you played tunic i think you would like it
Jesse I am BEGGING you to play Signalis with the squad. It's one of the best recent horror games of all time, and you would EAT IT UP.
I'm currently part of an educational grant for my sudoku game app. I'll ask my prof if this is educational! :D

I forgot how much clueless Jesse makes me rage. I'm glad he loves the game, but GD man just pay attention and R-E-A-D the screen prompts ><
