That first look after playing the Santos Hernandez ..Gold.! Lol . expected much less of the Hill guitar (read comments first). It sounds fine. But the power of the Santos ..ay! Your informal presentation, much appreciated; I feel like I’m there. Don’t know how you mic for guitars but it’s very good..revealing . Thank you !
OMG--- Bruce Holzman was my teacher as a graduate guitar performance major at Florida State University. What a shock! I wish his brother, Adam, and the rest of his family much strength in this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
Thanks for the "mini concert" on the Hernandez. Best on the day from this side. Very robust and clean sound with no conflicts overpowering the brilliant and clear tones. This is a mature guitar and I believe the aged woods may contribute to the full body of the sound & colors.
The first one was light and bright. I like it. The last one gave me a fresh and interesting impression. Thank you for another beautiful performance today.
Love both the Santos Hernandez and the Ennio Giovanetti. Very curious how he landed on a 5 fan bracing pattern for this one. His 7 fan Friederich model has a body resonance around F/F# and is really fantastic.
I like the Giovanetti the best and my next choice would be the Hernandez guitar. I think Giovanetti guitar will sound even better after it's been played in.
I’ve been listening to this channel for a long time and you’re trying too hard to sell guitars. Just let the guitars speak for themselves, you have good microphones. The Santos is by far the best guitar on this video. The thing you didn’t say about this guitar is that the overtones and sustain are world class and what give it so much character and life. Who is playing the guitar is even more important to tone production than the guitar itself.
I need to use my mother language, Danish, to express myself precisely on this matter. Tak for gennemgangen. Thank you for your demonstration and for this channel. Very instructive and great inspiration
1. I sence a potential after long use, in the sound, cause it is even with a strong fundamental 2. Forced sound, ermm not my cup of tea 3. "Very musical instrument". It suits more melodic compositions. The finer the playing, the more musical the voice 4. Modern so soulless voice.
Hartig’s guitar has a very beautiful voice but the low E needs to be stronger, and his low D is just weak. Hill’s mystery guitar design produces the expected unremarkable tone. Double top and lattice? Get out of here, Hill. You don’t need to discover the wheel. It has been invented and perfected; just listen to a Santos guitar. Santos clearly was the best guitar; some luthiers manage to miss out on this beautiful sound entirely. That is how a guitar should sound. Giovanetti, meh. It sounded loud but i didn’t hear a beautiful voice like that of Santos or Hartig guitars.
I love the sound of the Hernandez guitar. . . . Wish I had one
Great guitars, lovely playing,,,
Beautiful to hear Bella Ciao. Thank you!

Wonderful guitars, but the old one certainly is brilliant! Very nice with a different musical menu too.
