Thank you Karel. I just got the Friederich book with your plan, that’s the best guitar plan in my possession, very detailed 👌 The Santos book is my next purchase or maybe the Arias one, but most likely the Santos first.

It's enough of an achievement to be able to make a guitar that evokes a sort of "improved" (in modern terms) 'run-of-the-mill Santos' right at the beginning of its life. I haven't analyzed this player's general tone tendencies to put his impact in context, but there are some Santos guitars which with certain players sound more lyrical. I suspect part of the issue is that carbon is not always the right choice, and also Brazilian is a challenging wood in these old model guitars, it seems to require that one hit a very narrow sweet spot with the top and even Santos (or perhaps restorers after the fact) do not always hit it.
