Looks good. The only issue I have is shortening the prusik knot with a Clove hitch. This knot can slip, more so on dyneema, so maybe clip the end of the loop into the crab so it can't slip off?
In such a static environment, I'm not worried much about slipping, and we have the catastrophe knot below; but your idea seems like a low-cost way to avoid a potential problem and having to re-rig the system, for sure.
Sure. You do have the catastrophe knot. I'm just thinking it's not generally a knot you want to put towards the end of anything. @@stephenbarby7234 That's a really good point. I'm pretty small (hence the channel name) and so don't worry much about the length of material. I do the same thing with "clipping the free end" of a double bowline when I use it in a fixed-point belay. Makes a a lot of sense.
