    Scene 1
Pharmacist: Can I help you find something?
Customer: Yes. I’m looking for some cough medicine.
Pharmacist: The cough medicine is on aisle 3.
Customer: Also, where is the allergy medicine?
    Pharmacist: For seasonal allergies?
Customer: Yes, I have hay fever.
    Pharmacist: Watery eyes, runny nose?
Customer: Yes. And, I also have a slight headache.
Pharmacist: The allergy medicine is on aisle 5.
    Customer: Thank you so much.
    Pharmacist: My pleasure.
    Scene 2
Customer: Excuse me, can you help me?
Pharmacist: Yes, how can I help?
Customer: I have a really sore throat.
Pharmacist: Do you have any other symptoms?
    Customer: No, just my throat.
Pharmacist: Then, I would suggest this new medicine.
Customer: So, I take two tablets every 4-6 hours?
    Pharmacist: Yes, that’s right.
Customer: Will this medicine make me drowsy.
Pharmacist: It might make you feel a little sleepy.
Customer: OK. I’ll try it. Thank you.
    Pharmacist: You’re welcome.
    Scene 3
Customer: Excuse me, I’m looking for something to treat a rash.
    Pharmacist: Where is the rash?
Customer: It’s on my leg, behind my knee.
Pharmacist: Could it be from an insect bite?
    Customer: I don’t think so.
Pharmacist: Maybe an allergic reaction to a lotion?
Customer: I’m not sure. But, I haven’t used any lotion this week.
Pharmacist: OK. This works well for several kinds of rashes.
Customer: How often do I use it?
Pharmacist: You use it 2-3 times per day, as needed.
Customer: Alright. Thank you for your help
    Pharmacist: You’re welcome.
    Scene 4
Customer: Pardon me, is this medicine for a fever?
Pharmacist: No, it’s not. Just a moment. This is for both a fever and chills.
Customer: OK. Can I take it on an empty stomach?
Pharmacist: No. You are supposed to take it after meals.
Customer: Two pills, three times a day?
    Pharmacist: Yes, that’s correct.
Customer: Thank you for your help.
Pharmacist: You’re welcome. Can I help you find anything else?
Customer: No, I think that will be it for now.
Pharmacist: The cash register is up front.
    Scene 5
Customer: I would like to get this prescription filled.
Pharmacist: OK. Let me scan that for you.
Here it is. You are supposed to take this twice a day.
Customer: I see. This is a new medicine for me. I’ve never taken this before.
Pharmacist: This medicine does have some side effects.
    Customer: For example?
Pharmacist: It may cause dizziness or nausea.
Customer: I knew about the dizziness, but nausea too?
Does that mean I could throw up?
Pharmacist: Well yes, however this doesn’t happen to everyone. It’s actually quite rare.
Customer: OK. I understand. I need to take the medicine regardless.
Pharmacist: How would you like to pay for this?
    Customer: By credit card, please.
Pharmacist: The charge will be $38.45.
Customer: Thank you for your help.
    Pharmacist: You’re welcome.
