- Here are the announcements for a special Rush hour 5 train to New Lots avenue. Normally 5 Trains operate to Flatbush Avenue and during rush hours certain 5 trains run to/From New Lots or Utica Avenue. These trains then head for Livonia Yard to await service for the following day.

This seems to be one of the rarest announcements I’ve heard and seen I can visualize the 5 from Nereid Ave to Utica straight on but to new lots not so much
I just came back to hear Jessica’s “The next stop is” and her voice saying the stations names on the white plains road line😢
i miss her announcing transfers at E180, 149, 125 & Nevins
She has the best announcements I hate that they removed most of hers
@@cjfromnyme too they should’ve left Jessica to do the announcements it was nice and clear. Just sounds weird without her doing it and all these different announcements

One of the most Rarest/Rarely used programs, But I have to say it's one of the nicest sounding programs out there
I miss these old announcements i hate the new “the next stop is” announcements
They basically took it from the (2) line from Diane Thompson. I like Diane, but I think she fits better on the 7th Ave line the Best. Lexington Ave should be all Jessica Ettinger.

Next can we hear the 3 to Wakefield Announcements, they had the 3 to Wakefield. Last time I’ve seen it was from 2015 of it signed up
So apparently they existed but are long deleted. I have no recording of it and the person who helps me out with the really old recordings never recorded it either. I can easily splice it but it wont be authentic :/
Also just to add, the 3 to wakefield announcement was done by diane (2 train lady) and just said "This is a wakefield bound 3 train".
He left New Lots on the 4 in the last video, just to come back the next video.
That explains why i always see r142s in that area

My favorite stop is west Farm square East Tremont Avenue on the 5 train line
At 8:01, usually when I hear Bowling Green transfer announcements on the (5) Train I heard Dianne Thompson's voice and then Charlie Pellett's voice.

This a Manhattan Bound 5 Local Train The Next Stop is 149th St Grand Concourse
They updated Catherine's transfer announcement at 3 Avenue 149 Street on the 5 train while Dianne's 2 train has the original one. I like the original one better.

5:34 Why do they say as you exit please be careful of the gap between the platform and the train. The gap doesn’t seem to big to me at the station.
exactly. The gap isn’t huge at all compared to the stations that actually need gap fillers

Certain 5 trains end and start at new lots or Utica Avenue during rush hours as those trains are stored at livonia yard, just like certain 5 trains go to neried Avenue instead of eastchester.
