The couple announced their separation at the end of 2016 after Tarek was involved with the 23-year-old woman named Alyssa Logan, who worked as a nanny for his family. It was the reason for the disputes between the couple. It is believed that Tarek was very violent towards Christina and used to treat her like a garbage. Previously, he was reported that he humiliated Christina by groping her breasts and butt and made her cry in front of all cast and crew of Flip or Flop. However, Christina denied the statement.
I really like Christina after watching this interview. The kids are lucky to have parents who love them so much that they kept their lives intact after the divorce. Most women use the kids to make the dads' lives miserable after divorce. Glad to see she's smart enough not to do that and the kids will grow up surrounded by love because of it.❤❤❤

Thought marriage was for better or worse. He went through alot. When your in pain you lash out at the ones closest to you. He has gotten help now and things are better medically with him. What happened to going to marriage counseling? He loved her. There are two young kids involved so, I think they should have tried to make it work.

S B, I think when divorce becomes all consuming and crazy it makes your life hell. Best to cut your loses if he doesn’t work, versus trying so desperately to make something work that wasn’t meant to be in the first place. I hate seeing couples lose all that’ve work for to pay attorney fees, when they can agree to be fair with one another and go their separate ways. Just my take!

Everything is going to be ok. We all make mistakes and fall short daily , but with GOD all things will work out for the good .

The children look just like Tarek...and Christina. One of my favorite HGTV couples. Did not want to see those two divorce. Tarek was great with the numbers and working with the subs. But, Christina's design eye and mind was, more often than not, brilliant. Only said, more often than not, because I can't remember each episode...I just remember my overall feeling about her after watching a couple seasons. Brilliant lady.

Cheater or not he doesn't get to be violent to the point police were called out to their home when they were married . He also explained that he was taking steroids had a hormone imbalance and managed to blame this for why he was violent with her . There is also the story from the camera crew that he made joking passive aggressive threats of rape and harm against her. She is not innocent and made her choice to cheat, but he sure as hell is not innocent either, now they have both decided to put all that behind for their children and still work together. I find it strange.
I believe that if the story of past violence is completely true (called Domestic Violence), than its still in him and he has just repressed it for a while, and either new girlfriend will soon be his target or he will snap on his true target (Christina). She should leave him alone they both have their own lives and should move on.

They tried counseling, it didnt work. Funny watching this knowing she married him and now they are expecting a child together. Idk what happened behind closed doors but her timeline doesnt add up. She was with this man well b4 the divorce was final and if she knows the sex of the baby already she had to have been pregnant in December of last year. It's her life so kudos to her I guess, but I would like to see how Tarek is doing.
