The interviewer was incredible rude. You could tell Christina and Tarek were uncomfortable talking about their split, so why continue pressing with the personal questions? Seriously, move on and talk about something else. This interview SUCKED and I'm extremely disappointed in the interviewer. Tacky and classless.
Today should be ashamed of asking these questions, much less deciding it was good to post it. I unsubscribed. Screw you Today. These aren't just personal questions, they are morally wrong to ask. I wouldn't have asked my divorced friends these questions.

The reporter's name who asked those questions is Natalie Morales. My wife and I used to watch the "Today Show" but then it got terrible with all of the changes and news broadcasters one who never even went to school for broadcasting (Jenna Bush. Nepotism works wonders at times, to be sure!). We got sick and tired of how bad it got so now we watch CBS in the Morning when we watch any news show in the morning.
Poor Tarek. It looks like he still has a lot of deep-rooted issues guarding their split.

I think the interviewer was getting really deep into their personal matters. How rude, she should be asking about the show Flip or Flop, house renovation successes, the fans etc. Look at the 4:00 minute mark. You can totally tell Tarek was trying hard to keep it together. And at 8:53 Christina looked like she was getting annoyed with the personal questions.
I want to know, what was the point to this interview? I feel bad for everyone involved bc they all seemed very uncomfortable! I could not even watch the whole thing.

Sounds like his ex wife could not deal with his sickness and all that was going on with him...you can tell he is still disturbed about that...when you are sick or going threw something that is when you can tell just how much that person really feels about you...a shame he had to reminisce about the hurt in a interview.
yeah not just be fed up and find someone else. she should've cared much more for him as she cared for their luxurious truck. she is a princess after all it's sad he had to be on his own. But no one will die of love he will find someone who will really be with him through it all.

The interview was way to invasive. Their divorced and trying to run a show together of course is going to be awkwardness, Natalie wouldn't let up, Christina handled it well. Happy for them both and love theIr show.
Uk I can’t take them. I can’t watch two people argue on tv and who clearly shouldn’t be near one another.

@@AeropathX She also cheated on him while they were still together with their contractor friend, she claimed because of his health issues she was neglected in the bedroom. Yeah, she's definitely selfish and fixated on herself!
You can definitely see his anger when they aim at his personality. It hurts hi ego!

The interviewer sounded as if she wanted the show about their business to become a raunchy soap opera type reality show by airing their personal problems on it. She was way too excited about the fact that their was sometimes tension between Tarek and Christina. ...And way too much prying!

VERY uncomfortable listening to the Interviewer! Does she completely lack discernment?! These questions were WAAAYYY too touchy and personal for national television! These are questions a Shrink would ask in a private counseling session! VERY UNHAPPY with the Interviewer!

She acts like she is a marriage counselor and it's all her business. So insensitive of her to ask such nosey questions. I would have changed the subject.
He seems like an angry dude. I'm sure there's hurt and bitterness from the divorce but even when they were married, he admitted to hormone issues with the drugs, etc. You never know what's going on behind closed doors. I'm sure there's more to the story. Terrible interview, no boundaries!

Natalie kept gauging him with hurtful remarks trying to make him feel bad. He went through the loss of health for a while and the loss of his wife. That is enough Natalie, stop!
I will always support him, but not his former wife. He has a sincere personality that shows. She lacks warmness and sincerity.
You can tell he loved his family. Sad for him. I hope he finds a truely loving partner.

He has mood swings that take over our family outings and snaps rudely at me in public in front of my family. doesn't matter. I believe her. Because I'm there. We're about to divorce 7 years 5 kids later. His anger and seriousness is taking over my childrens life experiences.

I have watching these two a long time now and admired them soo much but a marriage is in sickness and in health so his wife shoulda stuck thru thick and thin and honour her vows but she loves herself more than anything else, I look at her body language on the show and its posses galore, foot extended, hand on hip etc sooo not natural, Tareck you are soo much better without this one ah be Barbie but she will never be, God bless you with your health bro

I come off as confident in public like her . but behind closed doors I have to deal with a moody husband who seems to never enjoy time with us or hisnkods because hes always moody. And yeah It makes me cry a lot. She's good at hiding her emotions. Not everyone likes to show the world their demons.
I always wondered why those two were together in the first place, they are like night and day! He seems to be like a simple, no fuss, down-to-earth kind of guy and she comes across as a living-in-the-fast lane, high-maintenance kind of chick. The sideways looks she gives him

This interview was beyond disturbing!! Poor Tarek, Christina was probably seeing this guy well before the divorce was over and that’s why Tarek made the point of saying it was gonna be a long time before he goes into a relationship again.

Christina need to mature and grow up, and people don't care about the vows they made..You don't run when times are tough, especially if you love your spouse ( if he is abusive) yes get out, it's obviously he still love her, not sure she love him as much as he love her. She wasn't mature enough or love him enough to stand by him while he was ill and in the long run I hope she knew what she was doing in remarrying another person so soon after the divorce and if they have problems will she run to someone else? Not a smart lesson to teach your daughter!!!
I remember watching this show when they were married. It was one of my favorite house flipping shows. His wife was always very disrespectful towards him. She even taught her daughter to disrespect her father, which I found to be very annoying and difficult to watch. He was a good guy and very patient about it. I was not surprised when I heard of the divorce.
I applaud these two for granting the interview. The interviewer was pushing too hard for personal information. They both look great. It’s hard to tell who is more high maintenance.

Cringing. They’re doing their best to roll with her questions and keep things light, but this lady won’t take that as enough. She has to keep pressing and pushing. I get that she has a job to do and wants an interesting interview, but most of us who watched it were uncomfortable. So...you did all of that for nothing.
I thought Christina repeatedly answered the situation very tactfully and diplomatically. Shrewd businesswoman.

Gotta feel for the guy, he probably had no idea the selfish princess nightmare he was getting himself into when they married. As someone who has gone through multiple serious health issues, I can really empathize with him. She on the other hand, doesn't seem to have the capacity to. Notice how she then brings up her "in -vitro" crap.. Umm, like I said.. selfish.

I hurt for them and pray for their reconciliation. It seems like Tarik went thru a lot of trauma and felt that he was going to die and withdrew from the relationship to give Christina a chance at martyrdom. I know God can heal their love and relationship and restore the years the locusts have eaten. God bless them both and their children. Jesus will heal their broken hearts and family. God is a god of second chances.
I just heard that she remarried in December around the time of this post. How heart breaking for Tarek. Cancer, divorce, losing his family and now her remarriage. How much can this guy take. Especially seen on their television show (and here in the interview), she may smile and go-on; but have you ever noticed, Christina NEVER looks directly OR turns her body towards Tarek when she's speaking to him? Her condescending nature towards Tarek has always irked me and still does! Get rid of her!!!

The interviewer just egged the situation on. The dissolving of a marriage is a sad an unfortunate thing. She should have moved them in the right direction. That was so invasive and unprofessional.

Bad interview yes but you guys realize that they now live like 3 blocks from each other. He goes to Vegas most weekends having the time of his life. I bet you they get along better now then they have in years. Instead of this ending up in a horrible custody situation they both acted like adults and the kids are better for it
