  • Finally found myself with a pair of LEDs for my MiTo. There is more to come for the interior probably, but I think that the headlights were most important as a start. And personally they make a big difference to the car's appearance already.

    Thanks for watching and liking this video!
    For everyone upgrading to LEDs: don't forget to get bigger dust caps to prevent overheating. I used the originals for a while but recently changed to caps that provide more room behind the bulbs to cool down.
    Cheers.

    The trick is to put the "blue" thing on the adapter and then insert the adapter (without the rest of the LED). After you lock the adapter you simply insert the LED and lock it as you did.
    Try it next time, I've done it on my mito without removing the headlights in just a few minutes.

    I've got some Nighteye 9000lm LEDs in my MiTo, they're a TON better to look at but they don't light up the road as much as I hoped. Maybe the brand of LED I got isn't very good.

    And I used led lights 4 my number plates. And its looks super bright. Day lights didn't work whit less cause I was getting a problem whit computer and the LEDs will go off after 3 seconds. So that I need to fix.

    Hi @ItsAboutCars , I had a massive issue when replace3d the day-time running lighs ( minimums) by blue lights. The Orange of the indicator melt with the temperature, with the 7W bulbs, someone recomended me not to use higher than 5W later.

    • @itsaboutcarsyt
      @itsaboutcarsyt  4 роки тому +1

      Hey, thats too bad to hear! Of course you have to use compatible bulbs, the blue daytimes i used are 5w, not 7w like yours.

    What are you doing man? you have to remove the dust cap because the LED lights you have installed need a lot of air to cool off for this have a fan on the back, putting the dust cap will cover the fan by burning your new lights😉
