I have used a variation of this game with my students and they love it. Only thing is our school is a low income school and we don't have lot of any particular type of ball, so instead we used cones (for some reason we tend to have a lot of those...LOL) and students were asked to to a particular movement (skip, hop, gallup, crab walk, etc.) back to their team while carrying the cone. I have to say that the level of physical activity for this game is intense, especially when students start to go take from each other! I love it!
Tried this game today, my kids LUVEd it! I put rubber chickens, bean bags & dodge balls in the center circle. I made up my own rules: -which ever team had 10 items inside their Holla hoop was the winner. - if you got tagged while stealing from another team - you are out. - your partner could get you back in the game if they successfuly stole from another team. I told my class is was a mix of two games they already liked, capture the flag and tag, they went for it.! Thanks for the idea.
Kids enjoy this game, I do a slight variation... If a student was to steal a ball from another team, they must 'rock, paper, scissors' the first person in that line. If successful, they take the ball, if not, they go back empty-handed.
Little bit like Steal the bacon. The older game where students can go to the center, left or right to get 4 balls and win. Don't know if that's even played anymore but it's always my 5th graders favorite game.
At the end of a set time the team with the most soccer balls (etc) would win. I have played this game with young children, and larger teams, we called it hungry hungry hippo.
Reminds of the game "Snatch It" were children can steal other groups equipment. The only rule is the students cannot go across to get a team's equipment. They must go to the right or to the left. Interesting modification.

I love this guy, but he always sounds like he just woke up...
translation, bad voice.
What matters is that you get what the speaker is saying, stop pressurizing him to speak in a particular tone
How do you win this game????

Is it one player from each team running to retrieve the ball or all three can go to retrieve from their opponents except the close neighbors ?
When it comes to the stealing part, you could do it either way
