I would love a cvo roadglide trike, I missed Sturges this year beating pancreatic cancer and so far I'm winning, but treatment was so expensive I sold all my trkes to cover expenses. But! I will never give up! And you guys are such a inspiration to beat this disease and get another trike and ride out and see you guys!
We hope to see something like that down the line as well, that would be an incredible machine. We're sorry to hear about that, but it sounds like you're kicking its ass and are on your way to bigger things. As you know, life can work in mysterious ways and the one who never gives up ends up on top. We appreciate your continued support and wish you well!
See you down the road 🤝
I really like the direction Harley is going with these CVO’s. I like the progression (and the fact they finally put decent suspension on!) while still keeping the iconic air cooled pushrod heart of a Harley. To me this is Harley drop kicking the Indian Challenger, reminding people that Harley still has some serious engineering chops.
Thanks for the update fellas, see ya down the road!
Wait til the 2nd gen challenger comes out, and 10 grand less, CVO finally gets inverted forks, and Brembo brakes, that the Challenger had 3 years ago, CVO has liquid cooled heads, Challenger is all liquid cool big difference, the one only thing I did not like, was the throttle response, we’ll what bike I trade my 22 RG Spec on, if you haven’t owned one you don’t know
Agreed!! They definitely feel like a whole new breed of bike and we really enjoyed putting miles on these things. Thanks for tuning in 🤘
I have always said the air cooled heart of the Harley is what kept me coming back, that was until Harley sales and dealer culture in a 4-500 radius around me pissed me off. Walked into an Indian dealer, treated totally different, and where I ended up spending $30K+
I seen the trip, you two , 2LANELIFE ROCK. You two deserve a pat on the back.
Thanks for the support! Our Sturgis vids will be coming soon 😎
Great update, I have been interested in the new Road Glide since the sneak pics came out. I ride a 2019 RGS and have said each year that new Harleys do not interest me, nothing really changes.....however, this new CVO has sure got my attention ... now if I can just win the lottery...
Yeah, the price point is a deal breaker but give it time and these changes will filter down to the standard line up and "should" be more reasonable pricing.
Yes, unlike some of the other model years, this feels like a whole new machine and we really enjoyed our time on these. We hope to eventually get some of our own too
Hi guys, so it's 02:46 hrs here in England right now. Just watched the latest drop. Love the energy that you guys put out in your content. So, listen up, we dropped by the shop in late May this year and met you trail blazers. Hey, you've moved shop! Heck, now I have to come visit you again! Keep it Rollin guys, inspiring, digging it ✌🇬🇧
Thanks for tuning in, Simon!! Glad you were able to see the original shop. The new one is gonna be killer! We're hoping to be finishing up construction and all of that within the next month and have it be a cool motorcycle destination in the area. Maybe we'll see you down the road 😎
Awesome loved the video
Thanks for tuning in, Tiffany!
@@2LaneLife no problem 😊
Love the new CVO’s like the street glide and i watched all the videos you guys were in at Sturgis awesome trip
Thanks Jeff!! We're excited to start releasing our own Sturgis vids starting next week. See you there 😎
It definitely was a cool video you made of the ride home glad I watched it.👍👍
Thanks, Don! We'll have the actual ride video from the trip dropping at the end of our Sturgis ride series which starts next week. Lots of riding videos on the way
Definitely chill bikes.
I dunno if i'll ever get into a bagger or not. I love the raw feeling of my 48. Been on multiple 800+ mile trips and love every moment.
Thanks for tuning in, Jay. Each bike has its own spirit, that's for sure. My first Harley i used for long trips was a softail low rider and i thought i'd never want a "big heavy bagger". Now after building out the road king, I like it better in every way compared to the softail. With that being said, the best bike to have is the one you got!
Ride safe out there
Josh
Nice Guys. I love those bikes. Great review. Can’t wait for the Sturgis Vlog. Really excited to hear about your new set up there as well. I’m in Canada but my son lives in Culver City. I’m coming for 2 weeks over Thanksgiving so I’ll definitely be up for a visit. Cheers eh. 🍻
Same here!! Glad you enjoyed the vid, thanks for tuning in John!! We're excited for the new shop, which will hopefully be coming together in the next few weeks as we knock out a few walls and re-do a few things. We hope to catch you while you're down for a visit. Tons of Sturgis vids on the way...stay tuned!
You guys did it. No one can take that away. I watched ya’s on Lance’s videos , and I couldn’t believe the ride home. That was awesome. And I think the new Harley’s are a new benchmark in Harley history. Everyone who rides them talks about the power.
Indeed. It was definitely a run for the books and we're glad that we did it the way we did. Very impressed with these bikes and hope to have some of our own in the future 👍
Great review guys. I've watched all of the Thrashin videos of your Sturgis trip and looking forward to seeing yours!
Thanks for tuning in! Out first Sturgis video drops next week and there's plenty more on the way 👍
Hoping we see a video of the new place soon, would be great to drop by for a visit.
Yes sir! We'll put out a whole video on the process and finished product. Thanks for the support!
Wish I could ride this trip with you👍🏼
I did a run from Simi Valley to central Colorado in 16 hours so was feeling your adrenaline when I watched the Thrashin vlog,,, you get to a point where you don’t want to stop , in my case was determined to get to my cousins place.
And thanks for the info on those bikes ,,, sounds like they are exactly what I would like to have, but will need to dig deep to buy one of those. But a man can dream,,, ride safe .
Thanks for checking out all of the vids! Sounds like you had a similar run on the way out there. The focus when traveling big miles like that is incredible and it's nice to keep pushing sometimes. Glad you found the video helpful. We hope to get some of our own eventually as well 🙌
You guys should think about doing a trip to Alaska. Nothing better
We would love to! That's been on the list. It don't get much better than the top of the world!
brilliant explanation of the new CVO. love watching your content and energy that comes from you both. big up to josh for the cinematic content 10/10 for me
Thanks for the continued support, Paul!! Plenty more where that came from🤝
Holy crap. You guys are machines. Just finished Sturgis and decide to go for 1,000 miles straight right after? Awesome.
"I AM THE MACHINE!!!" Haha you gotta do what you gotta do! Thanks for the support, Stephen! Plenty more where that came from 👍
Congratulations hell yeah miles in miles ahead got them behind you guys Dammmm It. live 2 ride
Miles on miles, gotta love it!! Thanks Jimmy 🤘
Great review! And great trip. You nevera ride or comment the Street Glide bikes and new fairing. It would be great.
Thanks for tuning in, glad you enjoyed the video! We rode the Street Glides and Road Glides at the 120th in Wisconsin and did a full video on both bikes if you haven't checked it out. We love street glides and have owned a few ourselves, but we prefer road glides for additional comfort on the long-haul trips
Looking forward to visiting your shop on my next So Cal trip. i'll definitely come in for a cup of Joe and hopefully get to meet you guys. What a day, 1100 miles!! Be safe 2Laners. Peace.
We look forward to seeing you! We'll hopefully be all moved in to our new place in just a few weeks. Thanks for the continued support, see you down the road!
Always a great watch along with more than a touch of envy. Keep up the great work, guys!
Thanks for tuning n, Bruce!! We'll keep it coming👍
I watched this with my wife last night. She enjoys your episodes! Good stuff.

Great meeting you guys, thanks for saying hello!! See you down the road..
Definitely looking forward to swinging by the shop and picking up some 2 Lane swag. Love just up the road and have almost meant to go by. Now I have no excuse
Awesome! The new shop should be open in 3-4 weeks and we're excited to get the ball rolling! We'll be doing some sort of grand re-opening party as well. Thanks for the support 👍
@@2LaneLife i bring the beers! 🍻
Great job guys!--thanks for sharing !---on another note I would love to hear a review on the helmets you guys were wearing on this trip--thanks again!
Thanks for tuning in, Stan! As for the helmets, we've been rocking these for the past 3-4 years since trying them for the first time and they have become our favorite lids. Once we move into our new space, we plan to shoot more videos talking about gear and parts to throw in the mix, so stay tuned for those. In the meantime, if you have any specific questions, feel free to email info@2lanelife.com and we'll help you out as best we can. Thanks for the support!
Looking forward to seeing the Sturgis series. Was keeping up with the antics on Thrashin Supply's channel. It will be interesting to see your version. Ride Safe my Friends
We're excited to put it out there! We just finished up episode 1 and it's a good one. Dropping this coming Wednesday!
Nice video keep up the good work 2LaneLife
🤝
I,m from Germany i love your tours ,i love America i Ride a114 Street Bob
Thanks for following along on the adventures! Ride safe 👍
Hey guys, great video. I asked about Maine on one of your live streams and just returned from that run. We put on a little over 6,200 miles in two and a half weeks. Stayed in Belfast at the Yankee Clipper Hotel and rode up to Lubec and West Quody Head Light House and the Lobster Festival in Rockland. Got to visit the Blue Kights International clubhouse in Bangor as well. Returning from the East Coast, we stayed another week in Gatlinburg, TN, before returning to West Texas. We rode everywhere! I will be getting footage together for my channel soon. Thank you for creating great content! Keep it up!
Thanks Dan! Sounds like y'all had a great time and got to see some incredible spots! Ride safe out there, thanks for the support🙌
What's your channel and we'll take a look at your Maine trip when you drop it
Great video and great trip you guys are awesome !
Thanks for tuning in, Lukas! Plenty more adventures to come 👍
NOTHING STOPS THE HIGHWAYMEN! Good stuff!
YOU KNOW IT, EDWARD!! SEE YOU DOWN THE ROAD!
Of course these 2 wouldn't say anything negative towards any product from the motor company. They might get blacklisted and never get another bike to use.
Then don’t watch their videos and don’t buy a bike from HD. It’s really pretty simple but a lot of folks want to be crybabies nowadays don’t they.
I test road it in Milwaukee at the 120 homecoming, and I meet these fine gentlemen at the hotel we were staying, I can say this… the bike is a dream on two wheels… now about your comment, it’s ok to envy a bit, just don’t be bitter about it. Iron butt on a new CVO… sign me up! Just be humble and respectful and you will fulfill your hearts desires.
Could it be that they truly don’t have anything negative to say🤨
@@guilhermefraga4349 exactly.
Anything downsides we experienced, we stated. Make it a great day, life is good.
Haa! What a crew, what a run.. and the young men are gonna be as tough as you two are 👍🏻👍🏻🍻
Lol they're getting there!! Thanks for tuning in 🤝
We ran into you guys at the boars nest the last night you were there and had a discussion about Utah and I just wanted to say y’all were awesome. We road almost 600 miles home to Utah but got lucky with all sunshine and everyone had tan lines when we got home!
It was great meeting you guys out there at one of our favorite spots! Sounds like it was a great ride home. Thanks for the support 🤝
I was impressed how well they performed. The CVOs.
Same here!
Great video guys can’t wait to see your store. Those CVO’s are awesome bikes. I got to demo one in Milwaukee.
Same here! Demo starts tomorrow on the new shop and it should be looking good in 3-4 weeks! Thanks for the support 🙌
Nice long haul push👍🏻. Bikes look great.
Yes sir! Thanks Yogurt!!
I have to wait for October to drive it ... greetings from Rome (Italy)
October come sooner! It is a great ride, you will enjoy it 👍
Way to go guys
Thanks Jerry!!
I did an Irion Butt I should have registered I didn't. But I have completed one. All Harley Davidson makes comfortable touring bikes. When I did it I had a stock seat. Now I have a Mustang seat it would be even easier Now.
Yup, we didn't bother registering...it's all for the experience anyways. The seat makes a big differnce
Hi 2 Lane life, great video, digging the new CVO’ wit the tour packs. I know if I test ride either the Street Glide or the Road Glide, most likely my 2020 Road Glide Special might have to go bye-bye😂looking forward to your Sturgis videos, speed safe & take care, Aloha, Kenneth 🤙🏽
Lol that was the problem😂...now we want these new CVOs !
Plenty of Sturgis vids to come! Thanks for the support, Kenneth 👍
Hi Guys, great video on your new rides
Glad you have all the reviews about the bikes. Question I have is, how were those new windshields in the rain
They look like zero protection and you’ll get a shower spraying on you from all the gaps around the windshield
I heard the stock seat isn't great. Plus putting gas in dont work well. Other than that, well though out 😮
Gas input was definitely a little different but we got used to it. The seat was much better than prior options, but we'd probably throw something on like what we rock on our own bikes
I say as long as the bikes run your good. Just like a car or a truck , a motor is not a living thing so an engine needs is gas, oil, and air to run. You also don’t need a big ass motor to enjoy a ride. Bessie Strickland rode all over the country in the 1950s on 1100
Indeed. As long as the wheels are turning' !!
I bet we see you guys on your own 2023 CVOs at some point. Love is hard to ignore, lol.
Haha after all of the riding on these guys, we're thinking the same thing. The power and all of the upgrades are hard to beat out of the box. Thanks for tuning in Fred!
I’m really digging the new style but when I get a CVO it’ll be a 21 Road glide with the Black Hole paint. That’s if I can find one anyway.
Good stuff! Thanks for tuning in, Adam 👍
I watched all the Thrashing Sturgis videos, can’t wait to pick up on yours. It’s all great stuff you know!!
Coming soon! Episode 1 drops next week with plenty more on the way. See you down the road..
I bought a limited thinking the tour pack would be converted to quick disconnect…the tour pack has never come off, and it won’t.
Haha that's the way it goes sometimes!
"Who wore it better?" Thanks for sharing your time in Milwaukee, and sharing this video, Ride Free
Thanks for tuning in! Plenty more where that came from👍
Terrific ride guys! You hinted at something....you said these CVOs weren't yours. Not yours yet? Hmmmm!
Haha we hope to get some of our own at some point!!
Hey guys. Love the channel. I’m in the Atlanta area and me and a couple of guys are planning a trip for next year out towards the Grand Canyon or somewhere out west. Could you please give me some suggestions on a route or destination that you think we would enjoy? See you down the road!
Thanks for the support! Gaylin's our route guy. Shoot him an email to gaylin@2lanelife.com and he should have some ideas for ya😎
Excellent job guys
Thanks Nelson!
My RKS 2022 works just was as well in the rain.
Yes sir! gotta love that rain mode
What's your stance on protective gear?
You do not wear any protection besides your helmets. What about jackets, motorcycle pant etc.?
Can you elaborate on this please?
Great video. Thank you!
Hey there. Typically in cooler weather, we wear some sort of jacket with a CE spinal pad like a kevlar lined canvas or kevlar lined denim. Sometimes on the hotter runs to Sturgis for example, there is a balance of comfort and protection. Not saying t shirts are by any means protective, but being comfortable on 600-880+ mile days is important as well for us.
We have not used motorcycle pants, but we're looking into some casual protective pants to try out on future travels as that would be very nice to have in the mix. Thanks for tuning into the video, glad you enjoyed it!
Good stuff guys! Will have to stop by the new shop soon! #gomotorcycling
Thanks Tango1 Should be all settled in there in 3-4 weeks
Ill see you boys in sturgis next year! Great video! The silver is growing on me, not as fast as the orange lol
We hope to see you out there! It keeps getting better every year 👍
Hi guys, Mike from Hershey,Pa Road 4,700 round trip road with two York Plant “engineers” missed U guys @ Boars Nest spoke with the owner and his beautiful daughter. Meet “Mike”- engine designs @ the 120th Setup & even ran into him on a return home gas stop( 1 Fantastic guy) he enjoyed talkin* with our buddies that work @ the 6ork Plant ( stories) & what an adventure
Please comment on whether you missed having lowers on the CVOs - were your feet getting blown off the floorboards, was there any protection from the rain, and how you think the bike will do in cold weather riding?
We definitely would've liked to have lowers as we're used to them on our own bikes. That would certainly be an addition if we were to get our own CVO's. Like you said, mostly for weather and wind. With the floorboards we run on our own bikes, we've never had an issue with the feet blowing off whether with lowers or not. As for cold weather, just like our current bikes, they seem to love the cool and cold weather and perform accordingly 👍
Thank you for the information. Followed y’all on your videos. I agree on the tour pack, I installed one on my 21 Street Glide Special and noticed the difference. I love it. Keep riding gentlemen and be safe!! 🙌🙌🇺🇸🇺🇸😎😎
Thanks for tuning in! Our first Sturgis video drops next week..see you there! Definitely nice having the tour pack available
@@2LaneLife Yes Sir
Awesome info!
Thanks Dave, glad you found it useful!
Inverted forks are the way to go, just use a tick heavier fork oil...👍
Yes sir!
So are these y’all’s new bikes? Or just trying them out? Couldn’t find any info that y’all bought them in last few videos
We just rode them to Sturgis and back, they are loaners but we hope to get some of our own down the line 👍
@@2LaneLife thanks for the reply.
Nice job guys!
Thanks Robert!
Thanks guys. Who s getting those bikes ????
Thanks Michael! These were media bikes, but we hope to get a few of our own sometime down the line
Great video guys
Thanks Michael!!
Great review guys, can’t think of anyone better to test these things in the real world. You guys were like Forrest Gump on that ride home, went this far, might as well keep going! 😂
Might as well keep going, right?! Thanks for that, Jeff. It feels like we gave these things a run for their money on that ride. 👍
Harley Davidson are building the best motorcycles they ever have. The only thing I do not like, from a design aesthetic perspective, is the new sculpted gas tank. I believe these tanks are only on the CVOs, but really hope HD do not adopt this design across their line-up.
We will see what happens in the future!! Definitely loved riding the new bikes
Looks like u guys had fun going to Sturgis and hitting the pavement going home....
We sure did! Lots of vids on the way. Episode 1 drops next week 👍
I hope Harley doesn’t make this a mid year release every year for the rally every year, silver just to plain for the asking price and I won’t pay 6k extra for paint
🤔 But do they buy them to replace their current high mileage scooters w/ all the aftermarket parts?😎
Haha we hope so!
I rode to surgis 2023 from Jackson Tennessee. My best day I did 500 miles. What an epic trip .
Sounds like a great time! Thanks for tuning in, James 👍
Yeah CVOs are great and all but when can we get a video on Lance's CVO of a Mustache?!? 🤠
😂 🤘
Ride the shit out of those bikes👍
You know it!!
🤙
🤝
👍😎✌️
🙌
Kawasaki vaquero. 6th gear just wind it and it goes.
Can buy 8 of them for same money
nice. You can buy 20 hot dogs for the price of a decent steak too.
Is 1,000 miles the most you guys have done in 1 day?
We've done a few pushes a little longer in the past but only by necessity
Took the new cvo Road Glide out on test while in Sturgis . It’s nice if you like a mix of a Honda Goldwing and the ugliness of a Indian . It doesn’t feel as heavy for sure . I prefer the looks of the previous Road Glide and hate the looks of a Indian.
Yup, different strokes for different folks. They definitely grew on us to say the least though. Years back when the Challenger came out, it was "Indian copied HD" now vice versa, so chicken or the egg we suppose 😎
I have one coming in soon but I’m gonna pass
Good stuff!
Congrats on the iron butt. I'm sure the bikes run and ride great. still think harley copied some of Indian's style points
Thanks Paul! Chicken or the egg, we suppose. When the Challenger came out, everyone said they copied HD..so if the new RG looks like a Challenge, then..?
It looks like the wheels
Are spokes if so don’t think I’d care for that.
Did you go to a drag show and drink Bud Light as well 😂😂😂
a bit of glitter too
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
🙌
I’m glad you rode and had a great time. But it’s kind of insulting to say you did an iron butt when you didn’t. I get you rode over 1k in 16 hours. And congratulations. But to say in the title it’s an iron butt is kind of a slap to people who actually do and verify the rides.
Thanks for the input
It’s not that serious 😂 please touch grass
@@fltrxstcruzmissile spoken by a person who has never jumped thru the hoops required to actually say they completed an iron butt.
Ya what 60 g? Not!
maybe with a 15 g dealer markup?
bla bla bla
yada yada
They should call it the candy ass if you do it on a bagger
lol
