Damn almost 20 years later and this is still my favorite horror games, the music, story, characters, atmosphere is unmatched. Man 2001 was an incredible year for gamers.
Yup and people said early ps2 sucks when there are games like silent hill 2, onimusha 1, devil may cry 1, dynasty warriors 3,metal gear solid 2, final fantasy x, resident evil code Veronica, gta 3, jak and daxter the game with NO loading screens and more awesome games so I must say I hate when people say early ps2 sucks and people tend to forget that in 2000 it was during the end of 2000 late 2000 around October I think I forgot and even then there was still decent games like tekken tag 1 and dark cloud

Love this game I don't own the original anymore i gave it to my best friend who has a ps2 still as for me i ended up with the Ps3 HD Collection which is fine with me i just want them trophies to that game and get platinum 🤓😎

The game was always intended for PlayStation 2. The graphics are of course worse than the final, but even at that stage of development it was far ahead of anything the PS1 could hope to produce.

It's been 20 years and SH2 still is the best horror game I've ever played.
The last trailer has an unreleased long version of theme of Laura, and it sounds so freaking good
We can basically see how the cutscenes changed along the trailers.
