I feel like you've taken these ferries more in the last month than I have in my life. That's growing up on Vancouver Island and not flying as much! Have you ever been on the clipper? It's a smaller, foot passenger-only boat that normally goes to Seattle. An interesting little boat that we took a couple times and it has a weird little design where it has 2 fins on each side that go into the water, while the center of the boat kinda hovers above the water, almost like an inverted boat design.

Riding on the tsawwassen ferry during late spring summer season while it’s sunny and warm is obviously the best timings to ride on :)

Vancouver (etal neighbouring communities) has an excellent public transportation system. BC Ferries is but one operation that provides transportation to various islands along British Columbia's coastline. This governmental organization transports approximately 25 million people and 10 million vehicles of all sizes every year. It is a lifeblood economic boost to the Province. I am now retired from this organization after 25+ years and cannot speak highly enough about this organization and its people. BC Ferries A+

"yes, Ma'am; the vessel is currently facing away from our preferred trajectory."

You cannot run things continuously and not expect breakdowns from time to time they also require a great deal of maintenance from saltwater usage. Too many Canadians are spoiled rotten entitled Whiners.
