I have lived this. Perfection so close we can taste it…
It’s so amazing but then it has to be distant. But the constant is always longing to be together. Always chasing. Stopping and then starting again, finding each other, falling in love even harder.
Sometimes we sit in silence, sometimes we play hide and seek…then we’re indifferent, next we make love. And sometimes we can only focus on ourselves, but it’s always the two of us deeply in love no matter what… truly I feel every moment here. But don’t ever forget, everything is fleeting.

Thank you. There have been times when I thought it was my sense of reality I was losing, but not so much now. I'm losing my sense of place, like I don't belong here. It's not the "I don't fit in" feeling, I know what that is and this isn't it. Something has shifted, the deck has been shuffled mid-play, pieces to more than one jigsaw puzzle got put in the same pile and the picture it's forming has creases and places where pieces are stacked. Most of my pieces are here, but here looks nothing like the picture on the box I came out of. My sense of reality tells me this place is a mess in need of sorting out. If anyone comes across the piece with my youth on it, I'd love to have that one back.

A cold shower after sunburn. Watching your garden come to life after a long-awaited rain. Catching the first glimpse of the sea during your holiday. Sleeping with the window open and waking up to the gentle summer breeze tickling your skin. Finally forgiving the person who couldn't love you the way you wanted them to. The first genuine smile after years of fake ones. This song.

How many fantastic artists at their creative peaks had to come together to make this? Elderbrook, the guys in Bob Moses, the choreographer Yoann Bourgeois, the dancers Elise Legros and Jean-Yves Phuong (their face acting is as magical as their dancing), the camera people, the editor(s) ... there are a lot of wide, static shots, but the ones in which the camera pans to stay on a part of the scene, or tracks across the floor, or cranes-and-tilts from above to near ground level, those are all masterful choices and the shots are edited together with such grace ... like other people, I discovered this because I allowed UA-cam to shuffle me through some contemporary electronic/dance music, and as I recall, I awoke from a nap to the sound of the music alone, then discovered the images and was doubly stunned. I think I've streamed this a few dozen times in the last two or three weeks, and I've been sharing it with any friend I can find who I think might love it. It's a video about falling in and out of love, but I think it's also fair to say that I've fallen deep and hard in love with it. I'm old enough to recall the early days of music video, when all kinds of advances in production and staging and editing felt new and exciting; it's gotten tougher to impress me over the years, even tougher to make me genuinely FEEL. One gets older and perhaps more jaded. This cuts right through all that. Outstanding. And so many of you who have commented before me have touched me with your own feelings, so thank you for that.

I'm not sure what it is about this video, but I find it very hypnotic. I want to keep watching it. And while I am watching it, I am in a zone where all I can concentrate on is the song and these two people. So it's like a mini vacation for my mind, because everything else in life that is threatening to consume me is non existent for the duration of this song.. Then don't hold back for anyone
Close your eyes, just follow the inner light
    You count on me
    You count on me
    You count on me
    I can fly
    I can breathe
    And learn to sing
    Like do-re-mi
    So you wanna dance
    And you wanna be
    A bat out of hell
    Follow my lead
    You wanna dance
You don't know how to get it on the floor
Then don't hold back for anyone
Close your eyes, just follow the inner light
    (You count on me)
    You wanna dance
You don't know how to get it on the floor
Then don't hold back for anyone
Close your eyes, just follow the inner light
    (You count on me)
    So follow
    Me to
    Our old life
    Falling
    Deeper
    Into the light
    Into the light
    You wanna dance
    I wanna lead
    A sleight of the hand
    That you never see
    You wanna dance
You don't know how to get it on the floor
Then don't hold back for anyone
Close your eyes just for the inner light
    You count on me
    You wanna dance
You don't know how to get it on the floor
Then don't hold back for anyone
Close your eyes just for the inner light

So analogous to me and my ex-wife… We’ve stayed alongside each other for years before and after our marriage… Still best friends. Spun in circles for decades and we’ve just danced along side one another, never quite hitting the right stride at the same time … happily so… and heartbreakingly so.

Charming Elderbrook . There are very few times in which we experience a real mental union with another person to the point that, in seduction, the physical aspect ceases to have importance and we move on to enjoy a harmony made of flavors. , pleasures, knowledge and complicity that trace wonderful moments impossible to forget.

When they finally manage to hug each other, their gaze is elsewhere. So they start running again, looking for each other, staying in a precarious balance, because love definitely takes away balance from life ... The most poignant love: the more you want to love, the more your loved one moves away from you...
