Lmao! Arabs have been doing this for literally hundreds of years. Glad it’s catching on in other parts of the world though. In my culture (Northern Sudanese), women take it up a notch by lathering their bodies in pure sandalwood oil and doing a sauna like treatment where we sit with a fire pit underneath made of aromatic wood. The smell is AMAZING and stays on your skin for several weeks even if you shower twice a day 😂 We also use body scrubs made of sandalwood oil and other aromatic stuff. Then we use Bukhari (incense) made of sandalwood and a bunch of perfumes. The whole routine is pretty expensive but worth every penny. If you walk by the smell lingers in the room behind you for a long while.

@@Ms_Jaye the benefit of this sauna-like treatment is that it makes whatever perfume you use much stronger and make it last all day. The smell of it on its own isn’t bad but it’s not my favourite. It’s best if it’s paired with sandalwood incense. Smells soooo delicious and soothing 🤤

@@melanatednaturemaiden5663 I think she’s referring to the perfume, not the body oil. I’ve had a rash before from applying perfume directly onto my skin.
I do this exact thing except I use a carrier oil like sweet almond or something of the sort and mix it with essential oils to make my own blend. I've been doing this for years and I'm constantly getting compliments om how great I smell. If I wanna smell stronger like if I need to be smelling great for hours ill do that then I spray my perfume on top after the oils soaked into my skin. That way my fragrance holds up from the morning all the way to coming home from going out that night.

I’ve personally used baby oil in the past and never had problems with it (I’m acne prone as well) maybe you can give that a shot? It has less ingredients than the one shown! :)
Make sure to moisturize the area with a cream before and put vaseline over it and then spray a long lasting perfume on it it usually works for me + Spray in areas where it pulses like the wrist and the neck because thats where the heat is to activate the parfum

Literally have never seen or heard of this hack. THANK YOU FOR SHARING❤
It's Vanilla perfumes what drives them crazy I learned at a young age I stopped wearing it
Interesting! I didn’t know that; maybe because I’m not a guy.😂
This was actually pretty helpful 🥰 Didn't know this hack and can't wait to try it ❤
I'm so shook that this is some new trend. I been doing this for over 20yrs.
😂😂😂
A lot of her “hacks” are things black ppl have being doing for years. I’m bored of it tbh. She posted shea butter I was just like DUUUUH

Facts
Y’all don’t tell people your secrets so they gotta figure it out on their own. Not that shocking.
Also, I highly recommend jasmine essential oil. It has me smelling so beautiful and everyone loves it. But more importantly, have fun making your own concoctions! Fragrance is supposed to make you feel good. Don't let anyone tear you down for not knowing this hack. You know now so you get to be creative and make your own smell goods that fit well with your body chemistry.
"Everyone so creative".......😂
😂😭🤣😝
😂😂😂😂
GOOD ONE! Somebody tag ol girl, so she can give commentary on how our mommas & aunties were already doing this back in the 70s- 80's 🎯😂💯
😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂
Love your idea. I use Neutrogena body oil. Thanks 🎉
That Aveeno body oil is soooo good. It is sold out at Target rn.
yes! literally everywhere!!
Targets cancelled
Is it the yellow daily moisture one or the beige creamy oil one?
@@DecadentDelicacy dry spray oil. clear bottle, slightly tinted yellow
I have never seen OR heard of this hack. So thank you 💙 and I actually love the transgender voice
Your skin is bomb😊
thank you!!!🥹🫶🏽
I got that Neutrogena oil and I love it...apply it after shower or bathe while still kinda wet skin feels so soft especially after a body scrub. Nd this smell good hack does work bc I do it on a regular basis ❤
Everyone is saying it’s an old trick but I’m 50 yo and I never heard of it before! I’m exited to try it, I must have been asleep or something when they handed out girl secrets back in the day 😂😂😂
thank you lol! not everyone has heard of every beauty / hygiene tip!! hope you like it 💗
Oil and perfume been that girl always will be!!
I can't believe how rude people are being in these comments. None of us know anything until we are taught...so how are we supposed to learn if no one teaches us? My goodness people are salty behind their keyboards. 🙄
What is the vanilla musk thing? So it's mixing some sort of fragrance with body oil?
But when you dress up, doesn't the oil stain your clothes?
It’s supposed to absorb in your skin
Does body oil give your body acne? I tend to get body acne and I’m a little scared to try it
I’ve personally used baby oil in the past and never had problems with it (I’m acne prone as well) maybe you can give that a shot? It has less ingredients than the one shown! :)
I put my perfume on in the shower cuz my pores are open and I smell soo amazing all day
wait… explain more because this sounds so goodc
What now??

Does body oil build up on clothes more than lotion and natural oils?
Your skin is beautiful ❤❤❤
Oh yea, I love the amber oil. I bought the tiny version in August of 2022 and just ran out last week. Definitely a bang for your buck.
I add it to unscented lotion.
This was a great idea … I use the body oil too but never thought about doing that …. I’m giving that a try thank you ❤ AND you keep doing you!!!
I did this with lavender drops. To my aveeno. Cause i hated the smell
Just put the oil on your skin and the put the perfume on top
Make sure to moisturize the area with a cream before and put vaseline over it and then spray a long lasting perfume on it it usually works for me + Spray in areas where it pulses like the wrist and the neck because thats where the heat is to activate the parfum
What is that vanilla musk called and where can I find this oil???😊
vanilla musk by nemat! it’s at ulta!
@@NiaKajumulo awesome thank you dahling! 🥰
@@NiaKajumulo - TYSM! 😀✍🏾📝
Where did you get the vanilla musk oil? What brand?
Babe we been doing that for EVER but it’s a good reminder thus works 👍
Exactly!
If the fragrance is already an oil, why dilute it? Is it already really strong? Just to make it go further on your skin?
For some reason recently, the Neutrogena bath oil has been taken off all the shelves everywhere, including Walmart, and can only be found on Amazon. I hope no one is getting an allergic reaction to it.
In Seattle it's still all over!
From what I see they have it a cvs & target.
It’s at Costco I bought 2 big bottles there a few days ago you can still buy it
@@breeeeeee i can’t find it anywhere here!
What oils are you using? This is new to me and I want to try it! I LOVE to smell good and this looks like a cheap hack I want to master! Thank you for posting this!!!
She seems to be using the neutrogena sesame oil and also the Nemat Vanilla musk oil! :)
A lot of people get real triggered when old hacks become trends and it shows in the comments 😅
