Not cringey as far as I’m concerned, you just seem a bit awkward at times because you’re in awe of the amazing plants. Thanks so much for sharing your tour with us! 😺✌️
I’m in tech sales and I hate hearing myself on recording or re-watching zoom calls. We’re all our own worst critics, but I enjoyed this so much! Your authenticity and humility is so refreshing. LOVE commercial and botanical garden tours!!!
Thanks so much for the super thanks! If you liked this tour I've done a few on botanical gardens and other plant/aquarium places. When I look back at some of my older videos I get a good laugh at how different I was so even tho this is slightly awkward it could have been worse. Appreciate the kind words and thanks again!
0% cringe! You were in an overwhelming and amazing situation and I feel like you came across as genuine in the presents of so much incredible plant material! As a former tour guide LOL I appreciate your tour. Keep up the good work
S tier cringe lord video. No but for real, thank you for putting yourself out there and trying something new and out of your comfort zone. That's how you grow, not only as a content creator, but as a person in general.
I'm from Wisconsin so I know the pain. You can get like 5x5 foot or even 8x8 foot grow tents you can put in your basement and build one. That's my plan at least. Visiting miami for the first time really made me wish I wasn't living in wisconsin with this type of hobby
Look man, what really counts is that you tried. Doing something new is, well new.. And i think you did a very good first try. I dont think i would have done better myself. Try, learn, adapt and repeat! You are on the right track! ❤
You have to get the moodeanum anthurium to hybridized with. That dark red would look so good on these anthuriums. Plus, those purplish tones as the new leaf matures are wild!
At first i thought Summer made a visit to Silver Chrome again for greenhouses updates. Because you two are the only plant-youtuber i turn my notification on. 😂
Just finished the whole video. That was pretty fun! I enjoyed walking through that, even if vicariously. It really did give off jungle vibes at times. Reminds me of a biosphere I visited.
It's actually pretty common here for the pvc pipe pole in Indonesia/asia for few years. It's a lot cheaper, easy and time saving than buying pvc sheets cut it out then make a curve out of it. It's more sturdy as well
Awesome tour of this greenhouse. Thanks for sharing this. The 2nd half got really fun and fascinating with discussion of anthurium crosses. I just got a "Jungle King" Anthurium so, I loved seeing that huge "Big Red Bird". I like raising Anthuriums but have so much to learn.
I have a philodendron maximum and I'm about to start an aggressive feeding regimen for her. I got her as probably a TC with 3" leaves and 3/4 of a year later my leaves are around 17 inches. She's a beast and honestly I have too much of her now. She branches and branches from the mother vine, the one top cutting has maxed her pole and I'm going to be growing her up a cedar plank because she seems to believe that the moss pole is just a joke.
@@TechplantChannel just realized I wrote interesting two times 😅 No problem, I am really enjoying your channel. Especially seeing the progress of the giant potos branch :)
I think you were not cringe at all. The owner seems to be a bit of uncomfortable around people and camera, or anything but plants, it was nice to watch!
HA you think your videos are cringe worthy.................... You have not seen any of mine. I might as well just turn on the camera wave it around and strum my lip. I think you did a great job. Beautiful nursery with amazing plants. Thanks for sharing.
I have been think about the crossing between children of cross as well. I think it would be interesting to cross the children between each other, but it might be more interesting to the cross the children back with one of the parent to sort of "dilute" the influence from one of the parentage. If you where to look at all the A. lux crosses, it seems that the lux leaf texture is very dominantly expressed and the silver veining from mag/crystal/clari are gone, I wonder what would happen if you where to cross luxurian x magnificum back with the magnificum parent, would this process create a much lightly corrugated leaves with silver veining? What would happen if you where to repeat this process with each generation? When will the influence from the lux be gone completely? I guess it would be a life long experiment.
@@TechplantChannel it's ok, lol. They aren't your main obsession....yet, lol. You showed the most important one: the monstera mint, which I didn't even know existed! It's at the top of my bucket list now! ❤️
Actually, I thought you did really well I didn’t see anything wrong with it. We got to see the plants really well you hold it still the camera, so I really think you did a good job. You should pay yourself on the back.
Thank you! towards the end tho I could barely keep the camera up, its all rigged up with stuff and wow did it get heavy so im glad i was able to keep it steady enough so you can see the plants. Thanks for watching!
I am getting so tyred of all those variegated ones. Beautifull leaves with striking veines that get ruined by a sickly looking virussy variegation. And nice leaf shapes like the joepii and spiritus sancti get worse looking with variegation as well. I like some plants with white/light green/dark green bloks or a line around the edge but dont get the hype with all the variegation
i know what you mean. the only variegation im actually a fan of is the thai con monstera because its stable and i like the look. but the rest are all chores to maintain the variegation and i think its over hyped. if it was all really cheap then sure but i dont get the hype and pricing of them
No cringe. You just seem to be a little too aware that you're filming. Please keep doing this form of content. I also lost my shit at the tutorial on how to make a regular monstera into an albo
It could have been a 10hour video easily sadly I was a little crunched for time but hopefully I can get down to miami again and visit. Thank you for watching!
Seriously don’t know what you are apologizing for, you did great!
I felt like i just said WOW the whole time lol

For sure, hopefully I can do more of these and take what I've learned from the previous. Thanks for the support 🙏
That living wall is so cool. Wish I could make one of those where I live, as I stare into my snow covered yard.

You weren't cringy at all! I really liked this style of video and would love to see you do more plant tours.
Thank you! Will do!

Oh my goodness! That nursery is every plant lover’s dream! Thank for taking the time to record your trip and share it with us. I’m a little jealous. 😊
yeah it had literally everything you could imagine, thanks for watching!

Example: that veichii and Moodeanum was sooooo sexy
yeah they are amazing but dang they are also expensive
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plant a very awesome collection beautiful garden nursery have a blessed day
Thank you! You too!
im watching other videos of silver krome and hes like the chillest person ever lol so calm
yeah hes cool
I'm 15 minutes in and I'm not seeing any cringe hehe. I'm just getting into plants; I'm finding your conversation with him interesting.
I'm glad it's not too bad! Thank you for watching!
Wow I'm happy that you went to my recommended greenhouse with the bird's nest anthuriums 😊 Nice vid, nice green wall section.
Yeah it was so cool! Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed the casualness of your interview and walk through, very interesting.
im glad you enjoyed it!
Nah Dude, it was good to me. I wasn't focusing on Camara skills but on the massive variety of the collection. Thank you.
So jealous you got to hangout with Bill at his nursery! Awesome stuff!
Yeah it was really cool to see. He is very friendly so if you are in miami deff reach out to him on IG

Those pvc hanging pot/poles are ingenious!
Yeah I thought the PVC ones were really awesome too. very ridged and relatively cheap to make and long lasting.

one of my favorite videos so far!
Well done! 👍 apart from being out of your comfort zone the distraction of the beautiful plants wouldn’t have helped. Well done!
they did not help lol, thank for watching!
Love the video! I wish I can visit too!
you did an awesome job!
Thank you so much!
Imma be honest, it was indeed super cringe but you did your best man and that’s what’s important. Great plants!
Thanks for sharing! Some really cool cultivars
Thanks for watching! I hope it was pretty interesting!
@Techplant really makes me dream about having those special plants someday!
Greetings hobby plants from Indonesia
hi!
That was great, I had no idea some of those plants got as big as they do
Yeah I was blown away by the size of so many of them!
@@TechplantChannel I wonder how much $ too 😆
Really interesting video even though I only had time to watch the first 10 minutes. Interesting video bro
The middle is probably the coolest, if you get time id deff check it out. Thank you for watching the first part and thanks for the kind words!

yeah that one was very extreme

hey that's a pretty interesting idea! sounds like a good way to do exactly like you described
I thinks its one of best hybrid
Awesome tour! Some of those plants are so HUGE! Every time you went past a monstera without focusing on it, all I heard in my head is 🎵turn around🎵😂😂😂
yeah sorry! he had a crazy monstera collection that we kinda breezed through!
