    I really like you Caribbean videos, because they are not filmed from a cruise ship or from a resort. The way you explore the Caribbean is the way that I want to do it myself when I get there. So thank you for showing us what it is like to travel this part of the world.

      This is the most interesting way to see the real world. I love actually experiencing life in a country even if it is just for a moment. I hope you get to travel to the Caribbeans, they are really something else.

    Owia Salt Pond is one of my favourite places. Glad you were able to visit Philis.
    I once walked there too. It was breathtaking.
    Do you know that years ago Indeginous people jumped to their death near there in an attempt to escape being captured by colonizers

    The ponds looks beautiful. But how come you choose to go on a cloudy and rainy day? I think it would have been better if you did go on a sunny day?

    • @travel_with_phil
      @travel_with_phil  3 місяці тому +1

      The pond is absolutely stunning, I was honestly blown away by their simple beauty❤❤❤ Unfortunately as full time travellers we don't always get to choose days with "good weather" The entire time I was in St Vincent it was raining a lot. That Saturday was actually sunny for the most part then it rained in the afternoon and then it became sunny again

    Most people live in poverty in St Vincent. Tourists get to explore the island and enjoy what it has to offer more than the locals. I was a child when I visited both salt pond and Bequia. Lots of places to visit but no money. Money is for bills and what's left is for food.

      Unfortunately that is the same story even in Africa, especially growing up. I am grateful that I am able to explore the world and I don't take it for granted at all.

      That's by designed .. it a plot of evil ppl to keep african and caribbean poor, but we rise and not living the worst.. our standards of living has come a long way , than a lot of ountries, yet far to go, so Phil when africa rise , so will the Caribbean
