Shit, in a crew cab, long box dually 4x4 it got 16 MPG HIGHWAY dry, which is absolutely horrid for a diesel.
I mean we have 4 7.3's, a 6.0 and a 6.7 and they all have their place. Of course as technology progresses they will always be pumping more power out of new motors but that doesn't mean the old ones won't work as well. Our 6.7 will get the same if not worse fuel mileage than the 7.3's now granted it's a f550 and has weight on it all the time and you can tell. It is a lot more comfortable and I'm sure safer. The 6.0 gets the best mpg's lol.
Adam, congratulations on the dually! If y'all want even more range out of it, there are aftermarket options for a larger fuel tank. I believe they make a 65 gallon direct replacement for that truck.
Enthusiast2024 now mine isnt a dually but my 6.7 does 19mpg highway and 14mpg towing a 12k 5th wheel so id guess anywhere from 900-1200+miles depending if hes hauling or not

I wouldn’t mod it. Those trucks from the factory are made to work hard and be reliable. If you level it, it will sag when towing heavy. Just my opinion, but I have always loved the look of a stock truck.

Put an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed for no stops. You can get an extra 100 gallons. I have a 50 gallon aux tank in my tow rig works great. Flip one of my aux switches on my dash and it pumps fuel from my aux tank into my trucks tank while driving down the road. It’s amazing you should def put one in yours.

You should wraps the roof black, smoke the roof lights, and wraps the chrome on the mirrors in a black tint too. Would look really dope with the platinum white contrast

I believe someone makes a kit that replaces the leaf springs with a 4 link and big rig air bags and a leveling valve. That way it always sits at the proper height and rides way better when empty.

I just picked up a '17 F250 about a month ago largely due to your impressions of it in your previous videos, as well as the swarms of other reviews on yt. I'm going to be towing a jeep and a side by side behind it. I love it so far! I was afraid maybe you were switching brands on us in the beginning of the video. Stoked to see that you stuck with the Superduty. They have the highest towing capacity and power on the market! The technology and interior in the trucks are unmatched, in my opinion. If you ever decide to sell your single car trailer, please keep me in mind! That's my next purchase, and I've been trying to find a nice spread axel with cabinets up front. but really.. let me know lol Also, just wanted to give you a little heads up. As you go into 5th wheel towing, keep a close eye on your GCVW (combined truck and trailer weight) Look into local laws to make sure you aren't required to obtain a DOT or MC number. Once you have a 1 ton truck pulling a 5th wheel, you are going to be scruitinized much more by the highway patrol and DOT. Some states require DOT/MC numbers if pulling over 10k lbs, some states require them at 10k, others 26k lbs. Fines are pretty hefty if you're out there illegally. Don't want you to get hit with any surprises from the law. You're about to make so many more great memories in the new truck! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I own a 2017 platinum drw. Had the same truck in srw. First sticker was 78k and drw was about 80k. There are only a couple option I don’t have. Limited started in 18 but no truck with factory options are that much over 100 and definitely not a platinum.

F350 has a bigger axle and diff little stiffer lev springs. You can pull a 2 car hauler gooseneck with the f250, without a problem.
IIRC the ring gears are bigger, but the tubes and carrier are the same.
Jaden TM only the F350 DRW and F450 have a larger axle. The SRW F250 and F350 have the same axle

You want a rake or higher rear end on a truck for towing . If you level the front Jack up the rear a bit . You also still may need air bags on a f350
