Except for number one i'd somewhat agree.. the list needs to be longer 😅
I like Bonham, but he would barely make my top10..
For everyone who doesn't know it, check out the over 30min version of Do What You Like from Baker's Air Force, most of it is just drums and it's a duo with Elvin Jones!! (stuff like that is what made him just special ❤)
I think you can't put links in comments anymore, but it is on youtube
Mitch Mitchell's drum solo on Moon, Turn The Tides... Gently Gently Away and his solo at the Woodstock festival are my favourites
I think the ventures - wipe out has its share of cool drum solos
Billy Cobham is not even mentioned let alone having some of the greatest solos of all time
Neil Peart Working Man live.
How about Iron Butterfly? That was one of the most epic drum solos of the 60's.
Here’s a list of my 5 favorite drum solos:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
I absolutely love ..... Kirk Arrington of Metal Church. He idolized Jon Bonham and thru his life's path perfected his craft. Unfortunately his health cause his early death this year. He is and was one of the greatest drummers ever
Great vid! Small correction: the studio version of "Moby Dick" is on LZ II, not I.
NEIL PEART ALL DAY!!!!!!! ♥
Barrimore Barlow with 'Tull doing Cunundrum on the live Bursting Out album. And any other drum solo Barrimore did. John Bonham once said Barlow was England's finest drummer.
I agree with with every drummer chosen but I personally don’t think Keith Moon deserves to be on this list. The only thing that makes his crazy a$$ stand out were his antics. His drumming fit The Who’s music but there’s nothing inspirational about his playing. I knew about Moon because he’d destroy his drum kits. That might have been cool to see but what’s the point? His “Pictures of Lily” kit was demolished because he thought it would be 🆒. A lot of the rock drummers on this list add Moon as a major influence on their own style…….. I just don’t see how. Anyway, great videos. I just now subscribed to your channel 👍
It was good but too short.
*Promosm* 😚
Still no Joey Jordison😒
There is no such thing as a good drum solo
They're all great, for them cats that don't derstand.
Nah ...
You talk to much
