@@Shivz88 Josh's cover is technically better but in Pete's defence Josh is just trying to nail the song and could do as many takes as he wants. Pete is in the middle of a set and has one chance to play it perfect every night
Discovered Havok around ‘14-‘15 and listened to “Time Is Up” front to back and they became one of my favorite bands. I saw these guys at the Brooklyn Bowl here in Vegas September 24th, got off work and rushed to the show. These guys put on a helluva show that kicked my ass. Can’t wait to see them here again!
Sounds nothing like them, especially Lombardo. Webber plays with his cymbals all day long, while those 2 never really do. Kinda Death metal antics tbh.
He is easily in my Top 10, i have not done a proper list, but I grew up in the 80s thrash scene and of course I revere guys like Lombardo, Hoglan, Reinert, and I also really like Tardy of Obituary a lot, but Weber is right there in league with any of those guys and Havok's music is like killer. If Webber was playing drums for a shitty band I wouldn't really care about him, but his band is great and he is great so put him on the fucking list. LOL.
Pete is the best of old and new styles. He knows how to not overdue double kicks and lead with one foot which is perfect for thrash. At the same time, he can be very technical and play some unique stuff. ❤️❤️
Pete is a powerful as fuck drummer, but he is also subtlety intelligent in his playing. He knows when to push and when to lay back in the groove. His ease in moving into various time signatures and his underlying use of the double kick is while it all being perfectly executed is the work of what we call a fucking GREAT DRUMMER. Pete can go from this smooth prog level drum style to balls out thrash attack. He's damn good. He's using SuperKick II aquarian base head and the AA Sabian line. He's basically ME, except he's good at drums. LOL. I LOVE YOU man.
Looks like a kick drum for a floor tom! lol awesome tune. Great drumming. I've noticed that drummers 20 years ago sat on the floor. Now they sit a lot higher. Once I get back into drumming, I'm gonna try sitting higher.🤔
If you sit a little higher with your legs slightly above 90 degrees it makes playing fast double bass patterns a bit easier because it’s less strain on your hip flexors.
@Snikendeskjultgulrotnepe yeah it's so much easier, I notice it when I go from doing skank beats with my hi hat on my left to doing skank beats with my ride on the right
Pete you are The Man.
Imagine Pete was Metallica's drummer...
Josh you are The Man.
Josh Steffen of course your here....
He surely is, The finest of em. But i gotta admit - your drum cover is better :O - No disrespect to Pete! - Huge fan of Havok & Josh Steffen \m/

Webber could power a medium sized industrial nation with all the energy he puts into this playing. Amazing!
I obviously need to start checking Havok out. Damn fine drumming going on.
Great band! Definitely check out their stuff
I did not expect that groove at the beginning.
An extremely underrated drummer. He should be a household name.

How are you guys not headlining yet?
Modern day nick menza.
Matt Davis Dave Lombardo*
He's better
No disrespect to Nick but Pete is better.
100% acurate
Sounds nothing like them, especially Lombardo. Webber plays with his cymbals all day long, while those 2 never really do. Kinda Death metal antics tbh.
Pete webber is fast becoming my favourite drummer \m/

Do you know why your work in drums is not recognized? I don’t! Amazing power and groove... congrats from Brazil!
I’m tired just watching you bro 😂😂 Damn I love Havok!! 🤘🤘🤘

God damn I love Havok. Webber is a one of a kind drummer, too. This shit rocks.

Who the fuck gave a thumb down to this. The King of Thrash drumming 2017.
I said the exact same thing. lol, who the fuck could possibly just stumble upon this and be like, "meh...he's not even that good."
Exactly man.
Paul O'Driscoll... lars .....Justin Bieber ....😂😂
I swear the 22" Sabian HH power bell ride is the greatest ride ever made.
this song is amazing and every god damn instrument part is well composed.
AMAZING MIRACLE
I think this is a song hard to play, his face says it. One of my favorite Drummers!
@Dumony vlogs why are you pretending you're Pete ?
4:31 - 6:17 : I feel some strong Annihilator-ish vibe :)

Amazing drummer
Crushing as always!
A very sick puppy indeed! Awesome drumming!
this sound is priceless.
what a nice performance dod!🤘
Dude I've been waiting for something like this!
It's amazing how he has his rack toms so upright. I'd have to tilt them closer to the snare rim to be able to play them as quick as he does.
Holy fuck, thank you for posting this.
Anyone know what ride cymbal he is using? It sounds killer!
I know this comment is pretty old but if you're still curious: 22" Sabian HH Power Bell. Pretty sick ride
Just dayum
Love these dudes. Is the left bass drum for aesthetic only?
Pete be bangin'!!!! Dude is killa!!!
really admire this people
Excelente master de los master
Hey, Burn, you have a chance to ask some questions here. Not the one about the two bass drums, though.
Great playing! The snare sounds wonderful, what kind though?
Pete Webber what kind of rim does the snare have? it looks different than a standard or diecast
Awesome kick ass drumming!!!
You talented bastards really are keeping thrash alive
This guy is amazing
Samus from Decrepit Birth there drummer sent me here to watch Pete drum awesome stuff

Pete, you're right up there with Chris Adler. Phenomenal work.
Awesome!
Very nice
where are his hamstrings??
He has like no body fat and he's also a tiny guy
Upper body gym guy like most maybe.
He’s sitting on them lol! Do you mean his hamstrings?
@@gtdrummer6429yes i meant his hamstrings, thank you for correcting!
What's the little cymbal under his hi hat?
Skinniest legs in the bizz, but holy fuck can he play. Seriously, scary good timing and pretty dang creative. Cool shit.
Супер эмоции
How the fuck does this have 8 dislikes? That's like...8 too many.
The machine!

14" x 8" fat snare with Aquarian Hi Energy Drumhead right ? Trick pro V shortboard ?

POWERHOUSE!!!!!!!......ultimate respect Dude😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Is that a pearl sensitone aluminum snare drum?

It does sound killer! The head looks like an Aquarian High Energy snare head and they sound great!

This guy is fucking awesome
what sabian mini china is that between his tom?
sweet! sounds awesome!
The cymbals👌
That's how you play the drums. Fucking power house.
Holly shit what a Monster on drums
GOSTEI... ABRAÇO ...
Fucking amazing
Dope!
2 bass drums and double pedal... is the other one just for decoration?
esapilves yeah, much easier to mic and EQ a single kick
esapilves
Pretty much. Eloy Casagrande from Sepultura (as well as many other drummers) do this as well.
Yes. Also it's a back up in case one head breaks during the tour.
It also helps with intonation, the two kick drums may have different sounds so using one will keep the sound equal
Why 2 hi hats? Do they have different sounds? Or is it just for mobility reasons? Anyone...
@Snikendeskjultgulrotnepe yeah it's so much easier, I notice it when I go from doing skank beats with my hi hat on my left to doing skank beats with my ride on the right
can anyone explain to me why he has two bass drums but uses a double pedal on the one bass drum. never understood it
is that ride tiny or is the floor tom huge?!
hey pete, did you insert a mic inside your kick or this is triggered?
and what mic you insert inside it?
Pete Webber thats great man, i even didn't expect. i think you use trigger but actually not
Keep up The good work man
