- Apple has released the new iOS 17.4 update that brings some major changes to the iPhone (and the iPad) in Europe. Some of the biggest updates are only going to update people in the European Union, but there are also plenty of features in iOS 17.4 that are available worldwide.

I’m unable to use hotspot after iOS 17.4 (iPhone 13). Down everything that’s suggested and nothing, been told to wait for update from apple. Wish I could go back to last update

My latest gen 12.9 iPad pro display arrangement/mirror display does not work with 17.4. It can toggle on/off but nothing happens. Anybody else seeing this bug?

Probably won't, Apple fought hard to not allow this to happen, they did the same when they were forced to change the lightning port, I'm in Europe, on ios 17.4, you're not miss much to be honest

Sometimes the background of app drawer section just turns into black.. just like the wallpaper blurred effect failed to load.. seems like a bug or glitch or something.. it's awkward..

New color iPhone 15 ?
I got a question. So i have iPhone 13 and am currently running ios 16.7.2 Since the next generations after 13,they have 6gb ram and i cant find anywhere info about how much RAM does each ios uses to run. Will ios 17 make my iPhone 13 to have less available ram to use etc,am worried if it starts to slack and stutter due to having less ram than the newer versions.
What if I change my phone's region to an EU country and then upgrade to 17.4? Will I then be able to enjoy the new EU-exclusive features?

My iPhone 15 Pro has 97% battery health left. I disabled some features to save the battery, but it didn't help much, and I feel so disappointed 😢
How many cycle counts?
So in stead of 3.290 mAh you have 3.191... The desire for the number 100% is just psychology, and you still have 100% of the 3.191mAh, and 200% of 1.595mAh

Obviously a load of rubbish updates. There’s so much hype about it but after updating it’s like nothing has been updated. They can’t even afford to add in new wallpapers! So what am I updating for?

Why? The original stinks like a massive pile of shit. I can never find what I need in there, and it misses a quintessential selection option: exclude apps from results with IAP and ads. This reason alone is enough to get an Android phone.
Apple removed the ability to make calls from an iPad connected to an iPhone's hotspot without being on the same Wi-Fi network in iOS 17.4. In earlier versions(17.1 17.0), calls could be made directly from the iPad when only connected to the iPhone's hotspot."😢
Thank You 17.4 for screwing up my face ID. Phone worked fine until this morning after the update. Now it doesn’t recognize me even so my appearance is the same.
It does work, you just need to paint your face blue though, and draw 12 stars on it. Alternative option is to paint an Apple classic rainbow pattern on your face. Apple wants to screw EU citizens a much as possible. Try it, seriously, it worked for me.

I'm sick of Apple Updates from re-entering my Router to when in TikTok it still keeps playing,you jump on say Google App & TikTok is still playing sound wise it's an abomination complete mess after all I paid a lot of money for a device I'm now getting rid of as it's a crap fest of constant UPDATES THAT JUST MAKE YOUR BATTERY 10 Times worse. Sorry Apple no more Updates now there dropping 17.1 or 18.0 . It's 2024 for crying out loud and Samsung that I have never even bought is getting bought tomorrow I'm sick of this weak iPhone that is already on 81% battery life span only 6-month later ....
