- Recorded live at the old Perkins Palace in Pasadena, CA for a late night TV music show. The full set was Love My Way, Run and Run, Sleep Comes Down, Sister Europe.
I was there . I never knew it was filmed . I was right in front. Too dark to spot myself in the crowd. Another lifetime ago. It was magnificent. I saw Ultravox there the same year !

Dear Richard, I never smoke a cig in my whole life and am 43 now but I suddenly love it just because I saw it in your hand. This to say how I can't help myself loving you and the Furs.
I believe this show was hosted by Todd Rundgren who played 5 or so songs. I think there was one other act. Flo & Eddie (the turtles) and Karla Devito (Meatloaf) were Todd's backup singers.
Todd had just produced the Furs record Forever Now.
That suit looks like he took a time machine back to 1966 and mugged Ray Davies. They're still cool (though I miss the backing vocals).

Wat happened to the video of Sister Europe from this concert,was it taken down ? Rare for the fact it had both sax players in it.
he could be dressed like his bassist....
I saw Ted Nugent and the guys talks way too much. You get used to Richard Butler who barely talks during a concert.
