The extra pieces in the Exit puzzles are because they need to very precisely position and cut the edge of the main puzzle so that the solution pieces match up properly when you pull them out to make a new mini puzzle, so they start with a slightly larger image so the internal die cut can be lined up exactly with the final image. (Sometimes if you get 2 copies of a regular standard puzzle you won't be able to swap pieces between them as the picture can be cut slightly off centre from each other.) Then they just cut and bag and the extra outside tiles end up in the bag as well. You can do the main puzzle and then put the extra square and rectangle tiles around the outside to see the whole original image, they are just not needed to solve the exit game.
All very interesting to see these unique series, a good number of which appear to be unavailable now. I prefer to stick to the regular normal puzzles. Some of these puzzles appear to have been a bit gimmicky and not lasted long. I appreciate that there are people who like these types of puzzles and collect them.
I think over the years they tried different things and stepped away from them. If they didn't work so well. It's nice to see the evolution of the trends 🙂
Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection.
Thank you 😊🙏
Very interesting video. To be honest, I’m not drawn to the gimmicky puzzles but to each their own. Thanks for sharing. Love your channel
Same here. always fun to watch though
Thank you Eddy 😊 some of them are really fun and some are just nice to know about. The regular puzzles always win 🙂
Great video! Thanks for sharing more of your huge collection. It is amazing how much innovation that Ravensburger has done in puzzles.
Thank you 😊 and agreed 💯
I had no idea that there were so many circle puzzles, and some of them are 1000 pieces! Wow!
Some of those circular ones are super hard to get. I guess you might get to challenge here 🙂
Love it! I learned about some puzzles I had no idea existed!
Thank you dear 😊
This was so interesting to watch! I’ve never seen/heard of most of these collections
Thank you 😊❤️❤️❤️
I love the wooden puzzles! They are so much fun! I have Stitch, the owl, the tropical birds, and both Zoe Sadler puzzles
I love them too. Such great puzzles

That's so interesting. I didn't hear this theory before. Pretty cool
Brilliant series Liza, loved it, so interesting.
Thank you 😊 The Brilliant series is going to get its own video
I had to laugh when you were talking about the vision puzzles and noted that they were kind of horrible😂
❤️❤️❤️
They were absolutely horrible 😀
Thank you for this video ❤
Thank you my dear 💖
What about the Heart and Soul series, 750 regular sized pieces?
That's a regular series that doesn't have anything different than the box. It will get its own video.
Ah yes, the time when everything needed to include a smartphone in some way 😂
😊😊😊
